i started using scar on my laptop which is a 32 bit copy of win vista meanwhile my desktop is a 64 bit copy of xp, the laptop is doing much better than my pc theyre both running same resolution and colour settings, any ideas why?

Moved to SCAR general.
Maybe your laptop is just a better computer?

More ram/better cpu on laptop probably.

or your laptop may not have other processes running in the background. like my desktop computer has way more ram and memory but it seems to run slower than my laptop.

Note that SCAR is built for a 32bit windows operating system, that might have something to do with it
