Rogue Den Maze Runner :o

How about a script to run the Rogue's Den maze? It is the same maze, and you can take the same path each time. The script could stop for human interaction for the guard part, or do it itself.

The maze can be easily completed with the use of a little trick. You can walk over 1 trap at a time, if the traps are like XXXXXXXX it won't work. If the traps are X_X_X_X_X_X you can walk over them all. Here's a guide from official forums:

THE MAZE:
The most prominent feature of the entire area. The maze covers an area the near same size as Falador! There are hundreds of traps, and several opportunities to get lost. In order enter the maze, you need to speak to Brian O'Richard. Talk to him about what this place is and he'll explain about the maze. If you think it sounds like fun and have the required levels he'll hand you a Mystic Jewel. This device is the the only thing you are allowed bring in the maze.

NB: (This guide does not cover use of the shortcuts, if you want to throw a shortcut guide at me, I'll be happy to add it and give you credit)

GETTING THROUGH THE MAZE:
There are several ways to get through the maze, but this is my way of doing it. I will explain every little glitch you can exploit. First, make sure you have nothing with you except that Mystic Jewel you were given. Once that is done go through the gate to the north.
---
Room 1:
Here you will be presented with three Floor Traps in a row and Spinning Blades. Use Glitch 1 (explained later) or search the floor for traps. Pass over, avoid the Spinning Blades and go West, passing through the Contortion Bars.
---
Room 2:
Jump through the swinging Pendulum by clicking anywhere past it. Here you will be presented with a lot of Floor Traps. Thankfully you can make it through without getting involved with any of them. Stand on the steps, go as far East as you can without going off the steps. Then just click on the Grill ahead. Your character should walk right by everything and go through the grill unscathed. (You may need to tilt the camera to see the grill)
---
Room 3:
Using Glitch 1 by clicking onto the square surrounded by three floor traps or disarm the wall trap and then step onto the same square. Use either of these methods.

Method 1: Step one space north-west. Then step one step North. Use Glitch 1 to bypass the trap to the west. Disarm the the trap to the west, then the trap to the south, and use glitch 1 to bypass the last trap onto the corridor.

Method 2: Much simpler but at expense of more Thieving levels. Simply disarm the next four traps to the west and move on.

Either way you'll be in a corridor with two more Floor Traps. Use Glitch 1 or Disarm them. Either way works.
---
Room 4:
This room presents you with another split path. I prefer to take the Ledge Path to the north but you can try disarm the wall traps to the south (and use glitch 1 on the last trap).
---
Room 5:
Yet another split path. Do yourself a favour and take the north path. The south path is longer, harder and has a guard trap (which are difficult to get by). By going north, you'll find yourself only having to jump a Blade Trap. Then go through any of the Pendulums and cross the Ledge.
---
Room 6:
This room is fairly easy. You can use Glitch 1 to pass through without any bother at all, or make your way through by disarming either the Wall Traps or the Floor Traps. Continue north and take the West path, then head north again and go through the passageway. (If you have 80 Thieving, you can picklock the door to the East instead. I might add a guide to bring you through from there later.)
---
Room 7:
Go past the Blade trap and go north until you reach the next Passageway. Go through it.
---
Room 8:
Another split path. this time one path is really big, and the other path looks like a small crack compared to it. Take the small crack route going south. Be very careful here, as there are three Wall Traps on either side. Pass them all (either by disarming all, or the first two and then using Glitch 1.) Go through the Passageway.
---
Room 9:
Open the Grill. This area presents several routes. Bypass the Spinning Blades and cross the Ledge. Next are four Wall Traps in a row on either side. Choose a side, disarm the traps, and optionally use Glitch 1 on the last trap.
---
Room 10:
Here you'll see a lot of Blade Traps. Your best bet is to choose a column with only 1 Blade Trap. Pass the Trap and proceed.
---
Room 11:
Here is a near empty room apart from 4 tiles on the floor. The Tile to the South-East is the tile you should pick up. This is always the tile you need. Choose to open the door and you will see a pattern along with a cut and a selection of whatever tiles you have. If you picked up the right tile and only that tile, you should only have 1 option, and it will be on the bottom left corner of the screen. If it is not there, then you picked up the wrong tile. Once you choose the right tile, proceed.
---
Room 12:
Go through and look at the horror within. It's a miniature maze. There is only 1 route. (If anyone can provide me with a picture/grid to paste here, I'd really appreciate it.)

1. From the starting room, take the door to the South.
2. Go 1 room East and take the East Grill.
3. Go 1 room North and take the East Grill.
4. Go 1 room South and take the East Grill.
5. Go 2 rooms South and take the South Grill.
6. Go 1 room West and take the North Grill.
7. Take the West Grill
8. Take the South Grill

Follow the passage south. It's (oddly enough) completely safe. As soon as the passage goes West keep an eye out. As soon as the passage narrows slightly there will be 3 Wall Traps to greet you. Disarm them (using Glitch 1 on the last one) and go through the Grill.
---
Room 13:
You'll be greeted with three Floor Traps in a row. Disarm them (again, glitch 1 on the last one if you want) Go through the Grill.
---
---
Room 14:
Do exactly the same thing you did in room 13. Then go through the Pendulum and past the Floor trap by disarming or use of Glitch 1.
---
Room 15:
Another split path. If you've been having trouble using Glitch 1 so far, then take the north path and disarm the traps as normal, then move on. If you are confident about Glitch 1, then take the south path. Oddly enough, you can walk right through the entire hall with triggering any of the 18 traps in there. Just make sure you don't stop on any of the traps.
---
Room 16:
The next room is another example of how brilliant Glitch 1 can make things easy. By either disarming traps or walking around the edges and avoiding the Wall Traps or using glitch 1 and sailing right through the room unharmed. Go through the curving passage.
---
Room 17:
This room is the most annoying room in the whole of the maze. You wont be dealing with traps and simple clicking. This one requires timing and tact. Go in and pick up some Flash Powder. There are two Rogue Guards wandering about. If either of them see you they will hit you and you will fail the maze.

Waiting at the spot where you picked up the flash powder (preferably against the South wall as the south path is slightly easier) as soon as a guard comes near-ish, use some flash powder on him and run a bit closer. Pelt him with Flash powder again (very quickly after the first pelt) and run by him. (If you want you can pelt him once, just to get an idea of how much time you have)

If you are lucky and timed everything correctly, you will get by the Guard. Next just head through the passage, past the 2 Pendulum's and into a room with a lot of Safe's.
---
Safe Room:
This room is what this whole maze was about. All that work just to reach this room. Try to Crack any safe and you will be teleported to the original area of the Den.

GLITCH 1 EXPLAINED:
Anyone who has read the GETTING THROUGH THE MAZE section will surely have heard me refer to Glitch 1 at least a dozen times. For anyone who is confused about it, I will explain.

Glitch 1 is a glitch whereby you can walk right over a trap without triggering it. It only works in places I've mentioned (unless you wandered off course) and can save you a few levels from being drained in the maze. The glitch seems to work most when you walk. In certain areas, using Glitch 1 while running will result in the glitch not working. It will not work when traps are one after the other, but if it's a single trap, or a trap, then normal floor, then trap again, it will also work.

Using glitch 1 means that you are not actually getting involved with the trap, therefore it deducts from your experience reward.

TIMES:
This section will be dedicated to average times. It is not complete yet, but will be soon. I will complete 10 runs, take the average time, divide by 10 and show the average time here. I was going to show failure rates too, but then I realised that depends entirely on the player, and how annoying those guards are.

Glitch 1 is explained at the end. It's the thing I was talking about.
