well i was asking for help on this a few hours ago, but ended up figuring out a way to do this after a couple of hours, and decided to save u those couple of hours by telling u how…
-note:usually .cue's are not needed but in multi session they are.
this was an old game that used multi session as a copy protection, so this shouldnt arise on the newer games.as it can easily be ripped, but apparently not so easy to copy
first a little description of what the situation was:
i had a game that was multi session. which means it needed a complex image file consisting of a pointer and the raw data.
the .cue is the pointer (hence cue) and the .bin is the raw data. somtimes it will be .raw. sure it was easy to burn a .iso because it was 1 file and u just press a button or two. but with multi session, it was a skank! i ended up wasting 2 dvds and 3 cds plus 1 success. i tried converting it, but the converted file could only be mounted and not burned…i though of a few ingenious ways to do it. and it seemed like it worked but it didnt, so i figured out another ingenious way.
just mount the .cue with a virtual drive, and then open ur burning software and select exact copy or somthing, and just burn it. i realized this after sitting about 5 min in the quiet lol…i was like "the virtual drive applies to the whole pc! my burner will think its real too!"
so yeah. its actualy that easy…….
ps:some images are multi session images from non multi session cds, in this case u can just use a converter. but wtf dont we all just use 1 frkeken format?!?!?! 1 awsome good format?!?! .uif would be nice!!! universal image format…not actually universal. it only works on like 4 mounters lmao
the real universal is .iso.
thnx all the people that tried to help atleast!but i got it!
