SRL Archive - First Scripts

This is my first script..

I completed it about a week ago and have been running it and tweaking it since then.

It appears to work fairly well for me but:

This has been tested and works using SCAR 3.12c, 3.13 and 3.14
This has been tested and works using SRL 10 & 11

Will not Work wil SRL 9 or lower.

Only uses one player at the moment.

Features:
Chops and Banks Yews in EdgeVille.
Solves Most Randoms.
Comprehensive AntiBan.
Uses all Axes including Dragon.
Comprehensive Progress Reports.
Allows you to choose when to finish by Load, Running Time, Yews Cut & Level.
Finds Birds Nests, Picks Them UP & Banks Them (V1.06 and higher only)

Hopefully the script should be fairly easy for most to read and understand. I have tried where possible to use existing SRL functions.

Any Comments, Advise or Problems Please Let me know..

Usage:
Add Your details to the script in the places clearly marked with "ChangeMe".
Stand Anywhere in Edgeville Bank.
Make sure you have any axe in backpack or hand.
Start Script.

I appear to be having a lot of problems with detecting talking randoms.. It's very Intermittent.

Anyone out there with any experience want to help me and let me know where I'm going wrong?

Other than that the script is working like a charm.

I have found and fixed the cause of the problem that cause Talking randoms to Intermittently not be detected.

Along with a number of other improvements i've also added SRL Stats.

You coded this by yourself? All yours? If so you should be applying for members. Because to be fair. Not many people pay attention to non members scripts etc. Which is a shame cause there is some nice pieces of code in there. And it is a tidy script.

Thanks for giving it the once over, I use as many of the built in SRL functions as possible but other than that written from the ground up..

I will be applying for members, I just thought I'd brush up my skills a bit and get a bit of feedback before I applied..

It almost got a full invent then logged out. I did put it to 15 minutes though, i didn't know i cutted so slow :o. wc 70.. o.O

Lol, Thanks for trying it out Demonhound.. You should have set it to finish at 1 load instead of 15 mins.. but having said that it didn't end because of the time limit..

I would sugest you and FagetHaxOr stick to willows till your up to about level 75 otherwise it will take you forever.. :)

On a side note.. I've managed to write my own FindBirdsNest Function. The in built SRL one could not ever work in it's current state. Watch this space!!

Gonna try it tonight, hopefully will post a proggie tomorrow. Looks really good, glad it's so neat.

I've written my own Birds Nest Routine and it works!! :D It's still beta but can be found in V1.06+ in Junior Members Scripts.

As most, if not all of you that responded are at least Junior Members I feel that it is probably better off being there.

Very odd… It should have equipt your axe and stuck it in your hand? Was the axe broken or anything similar?

Try it again with the axe in your hand and let me know what it does..

It does have a fully functional & working Ent Finder and Head Finder built in. Are you sure you are running Runscape in Low Resolution & Windows in 32bit Colour Mode. It really does make a big difference…

You also need to install subversion and scar.. there are plenty of tutorials on here on what to do..

This script looks great based on reviews. I'll try it out later and post a proggy if i can.:) I'm assuming it runs on Scar v3.14 SRL 411?

It does run pretty well. After getting the Drunken Dwarf random, it had a little trouble starting again. I don't know if it's just me, but when I run this script, low detail 32 bit color signed applet using default java on a world close to me, I lag so badly (client lag, game window freezes and I hear very soft beeps coming from my machine) i log out. Anyone else have this problem? It occurs no matter what world, applet version, or detail level. Also, when SCAR takes over the RS window, the active window switches to SCAR. When I change it manually back to RS, the script logs out and quits.

Yep.. SRL 11 & Scar 3.14 aint a problem..

As for you computer.. the soft beeps could possibly indicate that your machine is overheating.. Try running as few applications as possible or running it as low detail unsigned..

Low detail is critically important for most built in SRL functions..

I am always running it on low detail, with unsigned applet. I only have open IE7, FF, Scar folder, and Scar itself. How could 1 program cause my computer to overheat when it's doing something very simple? Also, when running in between trees, it runs fine. It's when the trees appear that everything lags.

i cant find where to download the edgeville wc and banker macro i tried the attached file on the bottom of the first thread u sent but isnt working plz help

That file is the macro.. it works within a program called "SCAR" which requires another program "subversion"…

Install both of them and the script will run.. Please read a few of the tutorials on here before you start…

It's not just possible to download something and have it work.. Your going to have to put a bit of time in, reading, learning and trying things out..

My computers laggs very bad too when i run this scripts but it works perfectly i got 350 yew logs in like 2 Hours and i only got 62 wc

Too Bad Stupid Chicken killed me You should really make a Random

Lagging Is always bad for scripts, find a good with and minimum lagging gets best results..

As for Anti-Randoms… The script has all sorts of AntiRandom features built in and can deal with fights… It is however very important to have PlayerNick set correctly..
PlayerNick should be 3 to 4 sequential lowercase characters from your username. so if your username is is diplayed in runescape as "Good Example3" then "ood", "xam" "le3" etc would be good.. but "Goo" or "Exa" would be bad..

Tryed on a much faster pc, then it ran for 30 min, and chopped 70 yews, good script.;) :D

This is an issue caused by a recent runescape update. We are currently on SRL 13 and it will be fixed when SRL 14 is released with no changes needed to the script.

Great script! It works like a charm, especially with the anti-randoms. Although the script can't handle a few of the new randoms, luckily it logs you out if it cant handle them!

tryed to test this… couldnt find my axe tryed steel, iron and rune on diffrent brightnesses tryed them in my hand as well as in bag, maybe just my laptops gay screen or if i didnt get part of the inputs but i really dono soz :(

Very easy to use script, I'm just having a lag problem when clicking on yew tree. Will try script some more and see if I can post what I got.

It works extremely well, but i had to start it off with axe in my inventory or it would just log me out.

I'd use it, but im too worried about getting banned on my lvl 85 with 1000 total lvl :s

I used it while i was at my pc talking in a clan chat. and sayin hi to other ppl.
All it does is move your mouse around and click, right??? it doesnt like hack into runescape's server's, and do it. because if it just moves your mouse and clicks for you, that would make it completely undetectable????

also it will log out as going bk to bank, give me a debug imagine but it looks fine to me.

How do I make it Find the Axe?

make sure you have axe in invatory and drag croshair and hit play and it should work.
or set a hot key minimize screan click on hot key to start and there you go:D

This script is no longer compatible with SRL and will not work..

Well I used this today, and it did very well solving the randoms, but it did not pick up the nests. No big deal, overall good script.

when i try to run this nothing happenes i followed the instructions i egt the following message:
Include file C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.15\includes\SRL\SRL.scar does not exist.
Include file C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.15\includes\SRL\SRL\skill\WoodCutting.scar does not exist.
Failed when compiling

You need to update your srl. Tutorial Island has many guides to help you download the right programs and settings for you to download it properly.

Runescape geek, try getting the new version of scar and make sure your SRL is updated

I keep getting this error:

dan this is an old scrippt you need to become a junior member to get the new working scripts.

pris0ner i like your guide adn everything and it almost worked for me but, whenever i try to use it or any other script i try too i get this.
