When I said that I didn't have no clue how that could happen, I did mean it, there's no possible way I can think of how that could've happened (by itself), it shouldn't happen… So I doubt reinstalling SCAR will fix the program…

As a quick 'fix', you can just Print Screen what you want, paste it into paint, save it (as a .bmp) on your desktop and load it into the DTM editor.
Another thing to do is to try moving your scar program as far right as it can go, while still being able to see the 'Tools' option along the top, then choosing DTM editor.
Also, operating system, graphics card etc. may be useful in solving the problem.

Once you save the bitmap, open up the DTM window, then Edit -> Load Image and go to your desktop and choose the screen shot you just saved.

Wade007

2008-02-01 16:13:47

Oh, also, the bitmap screen doesn't work for me! Dang… I might just have to use a Virtual Pc for these.

What operating system are you using? If it worked on a VM, then it might be because of that. Try running the program as an XP if you have Vista, or 98 if you have XP (right-click -> properties -> Compatability -> Tick the box then choose an option from the dropdown (this is how you do it for XP, but I'm sure it's the same or similiar in Vista))
Also, what Scar version are you using? Might be that it's a bit buggy/old.

Wade007

3.12c
I tried all of those but it still didn't work!

I have no clue what is causing this, really, but I'll have a look at it… Btw, I would appreciate it if everyone posted their bugs in SCAR on my forums: http://www.freddy1990.com/forums/index.php?board=15.0
Then I have a more centralized place to check for people's bugs

I know what to do but it will be extremely dangerous and you might end up losing lots of hardware.

If your text is too big you might have large fonts enabled. I don't know where to change this in Vista but on XP it's right click desktop -> properties -> advanced. This could be messing up the DTM form layout, but it doesn't seem likely. But hey give it a shot, see if you can find it and set it to small fonts/96dpi.

Although Vista does use a totally different model for scaling screen elements so they might have removed the font scaling option, I don't know :/
