If you don't know what funfile is, it's an invite-only torrent tracker.

Well, I have five invites, and I'm wanting to give four of them away to SRL members.

If you would like one, and you promise that you're going to use the account regularly, just post here with the email address you want the invite sent to.

It's a torrent tracker. That really doesn't say anything more than my first post, though, huh?

If you don't know what torrents are, you probably don't have a need for an invite :)

It's like Demonoid, Isohunt, Mininova, Sumotorrent, etc…

Oh, and switch to Gmail, cut em2!

I have this friend… He couldn't get torrents to work until I came to his house 3 days ago and downloaded one thing for him… Now he's all freaked out, and he downloads every hour awake… He downloaded 5 movies, a GameBoy emulator, a Nintendo emulator… All those weird things. He has also downloaded 5 different Need for Speed games, but the doofus can't install them…

Oops, I went offtopic again. I am sorry for myself.

I don't download much myself though… But is FunFile better than PirateBay? Is it special in some other way?

The only thing that's special about it, is that it's invite-only.

*Shrugs shoulders*

Due to the fact that they're very protective about who uploads torrents (minimum upload speed has to be at least 8mb/s :|), they have next to nothing ^_^

It's not better than piratebay, unless you're looking for something that is more active, has more features to play with, but has a smaller selection of torrents.

I'm probably exaggerating a bit on poor torrent count, but it does suck.

You have a small chance of getting the program you want. It'll probably have a few of the mainstream TV shows you're looking for, but not much. It's anime selection is, last time I checked, Ah! My Goodness and Naruto ^_^

It takes a little bit before you can get to a point where you can upload torrents.

Ah, sorry.

1) I gave one to Bobarkinator over MSN. I only have one left and I'd prefer to hang on to it :(

2) As Bobarkinator said, you have to work to get to the status of Uploader. Not only do you need an 8mb/s upload connection, you also need to have uploaded about twenty-five gigs to the rest of the community.

Used to be into Torrents, damn 30 gig upload and 3 gig dl at demonoid b4 is closed :\

Jason, forgot to mention the great dl speeds? :p

That and you can request anything and chances are it'll be filled pretty quickly.

But what fun is it if you can't upload things of your own?
