What is initiation ceremony?

My tasks as moderator, cleaning up the forums, but also accepting SRL members.. handing out cups, change forum names / add forums / delete forums… stuff like that.

My initiation to MODs was pretty interesting

I'm starting to see a pattern. Every time someone gets promoted to mod (in this case nielsie and ray) then one of the older MODs is soon after promoted to admin.

Thats what happened when i became mod, then a few week weeks later RAM became admin.

When I became mod Starblaster got admin if I recall correctly :)

People should stop telling mods to be better etc, they were chosen for it because they fit for it. Hobbit's a good mod, and he isn't one to be a butler.

If being an admin was judged on how much you spam/how active you are, there would be a few more different moderators. But some people seem to think they have a better chance at becoming one if they up there post count, when actually, they are looking for people who post less, but with more quality.

I meant that for being an admin or a mod. And believe it or not, it's not judged on a high activity bar. The activity goes up a lot based on how many posts you make. Did you see RAM's activity bar when he first became a mod? Wasn't extremely active, but he was a very mature and smart guy.
