I spent 6 days and gave up going to school, making those pictures look perfect in every respect, not a pixel out of place.

its possible to do this without editing the client at all, since you only need to set your own values to already existing variables, not edit anything at all,
but i don't have time for riff-raff like that :p bytecode edit and be done with it :)

this has inspired me a little, I've heard of someone who edited the client is such a way that the camera came right on your characters head, so runescape becomes like a first-person shooter.
lets see if i can re-create that now eh?

You can tell when they actually are fake because look at Rich4's.

You can see its all blurred and pixelated and not clean, whereas Yakmans are :]

Mine was originally clear, but the picture hosting website I used made i t all blurred. I'll try to find a better one.

yeah kind of like that vcvv, and that looks like it was image edited, i was thinking of client hacking for it,

and i managed it, i cant get the camera to go exactly on the characters head, cause that crashes the game

my character is the green-haired woman

this is it zoomed out, but not so much that the fog-of-war removes a lot of the detail

and this is it zoomed out quite a lot, as far as the JSlider allowed it, of course its possible to go more, but i just capped the minimum value of cameraZ to this

theres some kind of fog of war which stops you seeing too far, its unrelated to how much you have already loaded from the server
its in 104x104 chunks, not 100x100

and its not necessarily limited to where you are standing, you can stand in one place and move the camera totally somewhere else, until you get to a loading-screen boundry, then you'll have to walk there to make it request more.

it could be useful for pking in a big clan i guess, you can see people from far away, before they even see you, and you can mouse over them to see their combat level and all that

IS this detectable by Runescape, and will they accounts be banned if they're detected using this?

probably is, but iv used that green haired woman for testing other client edits which had worse stuff then this
they do send the camera values to the server, and mouse locations, so they could easily notice you can click or see too far, but i think they just dont care.
use a throwaway account to be safe though
