The member scripts section is cluttered, it's full of scripts that just won't work. Every script that doesnt is tested by tons of people, that all in the end think :( dam, it didn't work.

So i've set up a 'plan'. Every script would just need to be tested once, then i'll make a list of scripts that don't work. Give it to an admin, and then they could place a [X] in front of the thread name. But i couldnt do this alone, i mean there are a lot of scripts in there ;). So if there are any SRL members that are willing to help out a little, add me on msn :

I could then inform you what scripts still need testing. Time to flush away the old junk ;).
A note tho, if a script gives an error, then it might not be broken. Since SRL 3.0 i believe, a lot of procedures have been moved, so this doesnt count as broken, so you will need to know how to solve some erros, ofcourse i will test a lot of scripts aswell, and assist to anyone if needed.

At the end, the creators can try to repair the script, but if not, then perhaps someone else can. I managed to pull out of Wizzup? that he liked the idea :p, and Dankness said (if i remember right ;)) that it was a good idea, only he didnt knew if there would be enough people to assist… Perhaps there will be a nice testers cup in it for you ;)

this comes right on the day i plan to fix my RWCS, please dont flush it away :)

i understand what scripters think, they've worked hard on their program but after a few bugs are known, they dont feel like going back to working on it

im sorry id be to busy, i barely find enough time to script, i dont think id be able to take setting up a macro and watching it work, i mean when i first started scar it was intresting, but now its just become boring

SCAR Boring !?!? :eek: you just need to find more stuff to do with it, use forms to make some applications and stuff. Look at Kaitnieks and all he could do with SCAR he made some pretty damn cool stuff. SCAR? Boring? Never!

i never said that Scripting SCAR was boring, what is boring is Watching SCAR, at first the mouse moving on its own seems cool and everything, but then it becomes as boring as watching someone else play, a clumsy silent deaf someone who you cant have conversations with :wink:

i really dont think scripting SCAR is boring, id be the last person to say that, even if SCAR with runescape died, i would carry on making SCAR minigames, like Ice Magick or something (hmm… Ice Magick 2?)
