Hi All I just ordered a tablet PC off eBay for $184 a Fujitsu Stylistic LT C-500.

It comes with a 15 gb hard drive, windows 2000 and a 8.4 inch screen. a 500 MHZ processor and 128 MB ram so it exceeds minimum requirements. It is a touch screen so it will make runescape easier to play than with a mouse. The max resolution goes to 800 by 600 but only has 256k colors. will runescape play in 256 color mode? I cant test it cause my pc only goes as low as 16 mil colors.

I don't see why not. It'll look extremely bad though.

I forced the client to run in 256 color mode and it plays works fine and dont look too bad, you can see lots of dots too, my tablat pc will be 256,000 colors so i prolly wont see much diference than 32 bit mode. Runescape prolly dont use that many colors anyway.

wow $200 for a pc. nice.
any ways yeah it'll lag a little but should run- nothing stoping it. i swear a IBM could run rs ^_^"

Id use it to host a 24/7 CS 1.6 server :D

Edit: and yes.. it will prob be laggy when u play rs

128 MB ram will not be enough to run a whole PC, including SCAR, Runescape, Windows OS, and whatever else you may have (FireFox, MSN Messenger, AIM…)
