I just just wondering if anyone had scar working with a linux distro… (im using ubuntu 7.10)

I can get it to work fine under wine, but when it comes to using scripts scar cant find the rs box.. i think this is due to the fact that i would need to run rs under a windows program/browser… but everytime i try to install java plugins for any browser it doesnt let me… not sure if this is due to wine or not…


So if anyone has any info on this/ tips to overcome it let me know.

I believe someone got this to work. But i wouldnt recommend it, since scar is not supported on linux. Just make a virtual machine with tiny xp, and ur good to go.

jukka : i have got a virtual machine using Innotek virtualbox but my comp doesnt have enough vid memory to run in a high enough colour mode to use scar….

Markus: i cant see that link yet as im not yet a junior member (3 more days!) :P

but once i am ill be straight onto it… (cant wait to be using scar on my main comp!!)


If there is anyone else with knowledge that can help me i would very much appreciate it. :)
