Yes that's right folks, the first servant planker, more practical then going to the sawmill, and risking getting lost on the way, this script uses no walking, so it's much safer then going to the mill. I also used masks and DTMs instead of bitmaps, so it's rather fail proof (at least for the inventory things).
The only down side is that it costs just a little more money to do then if you're walking,
but i think that the risk of getting lost is grater then the cost, so it's worth it.
I use SCAR 3.14 and SRL 4.00 Rev#11, i have no idea if an earlier version of SCAR would work.
Current Features:
Pays the servant if needed,
Finds the bell & servant easily with my very own FindColorSpiral3.
Future Content:
AnitRandoms,
More Failsafes,
More types of logs that you can plank,
The colors & text for the cook servant,
Maybe a form on startup.
If you think I should add something to this script then let me know and I just might put it in!
I need people to help me test this as it's only version 1.0 (beta version).
Please post all proggies to help me make this script better.
If (and probably when) you get an error (it most likely won't be an error per say, it's just be like it never finds the bell/servant/mask/DTM) describe what happened as far back as you can remember so that I can look over the code to see what went wrong.
Requirements:
You have to have lv 30 construction or above to do this, sorry.
Have a cook or butler as your servant (i've been testing with the butler, so i sugest him).
Have a dining room with a bell in it (not a lv 3 bell).
Instructions:
Fill out lines 45-52 in the script.
Start LOGED IN in your house, in your dining room, (you have to have a dining room and a cook/butler (not demon butler!) as your servant and a lv 1 bell (the one with the oak plank and the rope) or lv 2 bell (the one with the teak plank and 2 bolts of cloth) for this to work) be near enough to the bell that you can see the wall plate, the wall plate is on the wall, and you need to enter the wall (N,S,E,W) direction that the wall plate for the bell is on (line 47)
P.S.
Sorry that I can't make this a multiplayer script, it'd just be kinda hard to have everyone's dining room in the same place.
UPDATED!:
Now it's much easier to debug the script, it'll save the debug'ins to a file (you make the name and the folder location) for easy reviewing! also i fixed the problem where it wouldn't find the "Yes" when trying to bank/plank the logs.
and a bunch of other stuff that i can't remember
I also got a proggy while testing:
hmmm… i know i had a better one… oh well, if you get any proggies then post them here!
Wow, i almost doubled the size of the file… cool!
