I might be mistaken, but I don't think F2P can High Alch.

if your going to high alch, dont buy the steel pl8's unless its sold under 1k.
buy it higher and you wont be making any profit.
rune meds have to be bought at 10k or less else no profit is given.

The best is probably addy pl8. Just buy the bars, smith them into addy pl8s, then high alch.
That's what I do, anyway. :)

The duel arena has randoms now. So does Pestcontrol Island. I don't know about you but on my main I alched green dragon vambraces after killing dragons for their hide and tanning and crafting. I'm not sure how much profit that actually gives. I know rune mediums give 2k profit if you buy for the right price. Thats probably the best way to go.
steel pl8 rune med helm altho it is hard getting ur hands on med helms typed it in in to ge 4 lowest price then highest nowt come up

All bars -> plates = profit loss, so only way to make some profit is buying them.
When buying from GE, rune meds give you some profit, addy plates a lil bit of a loss. Steel plate is 300gp loss too.

I believe the GE is hard coded to prevent any item's value from falling below its High Alchemy value. So if you're buying on the GE you're going to lose money, regardless.
If you still want to buy stuff from GE just to high alch it at a loss, you might as well alch hammers or chisels or needles for 1 gp each. You end up the same in the end.
Edit: Hmm, now that I think about it, even if the average price can't go below the high alch price, perhaps the low selling price could go below by 5%. Not sure, but it might be worth checking.
