Well I have been thinking that it would be cool to do something as a whole. As in auto something as a whole. Maybe even have a "competition" about it. I was thinking, maybe everyone starts a new main (which I would make) and we could start a little competition. Of course, you would have to get them off the island, but we could see who could get say 50 in all combat stats and such. It would produce more scripts because you would make better ones for your "autoing main" to use, and it would be something that would make our members community a bit more involved. Does anyone agree?

Sounds cool, but I auto on my main anyway… Wouldn't be much point in making a new automain. Guess it could work though.

But what would the winner's prize be? XD

the winner could get all of the competitors' auto mains :) I think that good incentive to win, getting a bunch of accounts with every nonmember skill autoed up for u. Though the problem with this is people will either be lazy and not make new scripts, or they'll be set behind in their autoing because they are making a new script

EDIT: and if does work then you could make different things like get 1 skill as high as you can with no blackmarks. and stuff like that

I like this idea, and you have too make all your own scripts, you can use no previously existing scripts. However it would be based off trust on that factor.

Now I am not going to organise nor participate (I'd win anyways :) ) but I will look into forum stackable promotions. Good initiative. Make a poll. Be the leader of the Game. Have people help you organize and maintain, etc.

I would particapate but… I'm really busy with school, cause I have a lot studying to do because of finals. :( But I would probably participate when I had more time. :)

All scripts must be made from scratch in my opinion, so at least Fakawi wouldn't win as fast :p

I'm afraid I have to agree about the fastest computer thing, well all scripts don't work properly with SMART, or what I've heard? And atleast my computer laggs more than my granny when using a vm…

Umm wait a second: do you have to make a script? Not that I don't like scripting, but everyone knows my skills of finishing a script :rolleyes:

It'd be cool if it was so that you can pick any script on the forum, but the trick would be in doing good choices with

a) What to kill
b) Where to kill
c) When to kill - meaning that you maybe want to consider not to auto 25/7

(25 is by purpose :p)

Then, the one who had the lvl 50 cmb first and no ban wins! Everyone would pm their acc names to fawki or something, so if you will get banned it'd be so you will be disqualified :)

Someone needs to be the Competition Judge.

Rules should be simple: Everyone makes a new Player, max it out at tut island, and place it at lumbridge bank. You send the log/pass info to the Judge and he/she will check to see if the Players are really fresh, with no extra gear at the bank. The Judge changes the pw's to a temp pw's to make sure noone cheats and starts first. The Judge will PM all participants the new temp pw's at Competition zero-hour. The winner is the one that has achieved the competition goal.

At competition launch, you are on your own. From that moment on nothing can be done to prevent you from cheating. You could for instance play legit with that Player for 48 hours straight, so I think our aim should be high. ATK/STR/DEF 60/60/60 and Prayer 43 for instance, or mining/woodcutting/runecrafting 60. This needs to be ironed out.

I recently started playing with a new Player and I had him at ATK/STR/DEF 40 within three days, so thats not a realistic goal.


EDIT: I would skip the requirement for unique scripts. There is no way to check that….

I won't participate (got another noob main to level ;) ) but this is how I'd like to see it:

• You need to use your own scripts, send them to the jury, so they know you won't cheat
• Only autoing, no legit playing
• First one with all skill requirments and 1M cash wins

Skill requirments should be something like atk/str/def 60, mage 37, ability to enter all F2P guilds (mining, cooking, crafting, praying), rc 35, something like that. Basically the average main. Winner should get a cup and maybe all other accounts?

sounds like an intresting comp, i would enter.

another even longer and harder comp would be the first to reach level 99 on the skill of their choice

Could be that you have to reach about 60 on ure main in atk/str/def then 60 in any TWO Skills that you choose.
That way they will be no obvious winner aka students who have to go to school and have other duties wil emerge.

I think I'll be skipping this one, good luck for everyone else though.

LOL, the prize is a bunch of completely inferior mains. Is it legal to hunt people down and report them? lolol! VENGEANCE IS MINE!

Anyway, I think the best idea would be a 'Who can get the best main within a month' themed contest, because theres more strategy to autoing that hitting compile (NOT getting banned).

I like the idea of the first person to get 1 mil in the bank on their noob character. And maybe have a minimum Total Levels and minimum Combat Level requirement as well. The rest should be up to each person.

O I like that too. I want to be the judge though (maybe you can help markus XD). I will make a official thread :).

I think it should be maximum* levels. Just to add a little difficulty to it.

one mil can be obtained in many different ways. He who finds the fastest (prolly bronze bar metling…) will surely win…Whereas raising levels is something entirely different. I would go for levels.

Well I don't get that thingy about "a life".. You start a script in the morning and check it in the evening. Takes approx 30 mins each day?

Oh, i thought you had to watch it all day. Oh, btw, having a life means that you go outside, get some fresh air and exercise instead of watching the computer or tv all day.

Still, i don't want to do it as my main is level 72 and that time could be wasted on doing training my main instead of training a character.

Smart anyone? No timewasting, only doubling of the total time you can use :)

But what scripts do we use? As i can see that nobody has released a script for the latest SRL yet.
