Well done for getting here and having access to the Members version of Rimmington Willow Chopper and Seller.

Script information
Chops the willows south east of rimmington range shop and sells them in Rimmington General store.

Features
Fully autocolor- Uses FindDeformed to get the tree colors and others

Option of not logging out of a player mod, and asking about the crown or something "whats that crown?" "are you a pmod?" "wow a pmod", that sort of thing

Intellegant tree chopping- if you dont get another log in 20000 ms (example), you find another tree

Antiban- Uses things like ghostspeak and randomchat, says how many logs left to chop and reponds to "hi" and "wc lvls?" also has no erratic or unhuman mouse movements (non that i remember anyway)

If you like this, perhaps you should look at the leecher version in "SRL free scripts" and amuse yourself at the rubbish deal the leechers get. ;)

You're not a leecher- :fiery: Post Progress Reports:fiery: -Set an example for the leechers (also bugs and stuff)

I'v fixed some bugs in both the member and leecher version, thanks a lot to everyone who posted bugs!!
I'v updated this to Version 1.1

Im sure it works like a charm, but i'm not in to chopping, tho i noticed 2 things in your script. 1 is that it's not bad to copy that SRL function, but the duplicate identifier just means that you made a var/proc./func. that is named the same as in SRL, or there are 2 of the same names in SRL but i doubt that :). So let's say you make a var called Hours, then it would give an error because (i thought :( ) there is also a function called Hours. But this way the script will also compile faster :wink:

Keep up the work! :)

That's what i mean :) , did you just do this because you liked to Home :confused:

home, thats your style, personally, i Hate that style because i use indentations to show where if( )then and stuff is located, heres an example

procedure color1;
begin
if(findcolor(x,y,225,456,456,787,787))then
begin
mmouse(x,y,5,5)
color:=color+1
case random(3) of
0:mouse(x,y,0,0,true)//this is the style i like
1:typesend('found a color')
2:randomrclick
end
end
end;

procedure color2:
begin
if(findcolor(x,y,225,456,456,787,787))then
begin//this begin apparantly goes with the second last end
mmouse(x,y,5,5)
color:=color+1
case random(3) of
0:mouse(x,y,0,0,true)//this is the style i dont like
1:typesend('found a color')
2:randomrclick
end
end//i find it hard to see how this end links with the second begin
end;

also iv noticed you've put semi-colons after most lines
i think thats unnesssary

mouse(x,y,6,6,true)
mouse(x,y,6,6,true);//spot the differance, they work equally well
the only things you need to put semicolons after are programnames, procedures/functions, and the end that ends a procedure (maybe some others), the rest make no differance if they are there or not

please note: i am only presenting my point of veiw, i know there are people who will interprate the text above as "you must not use semicolons", that i not the case. i dont mean to convince, preach or philosophise

i know its not much but i figured id let it run for a little bit atleast to show people it works…. good job on it man it only messed up once trying to sell it went to far north and couldnt find the shopkeeper but it just went back to the willows realized my inventory was full then tried again and it worked gj man

yeah it occasianlly goes too much north because the general store symbol moves,

its meant to click 4 or so pixels above the symbol, if it moves too high, the guy will walk all the way up

but it shouldnt affect the script as much as you think, the guy will walk back, inventory is full, go back to general store, the symbol would have moved by this time, hopefully back to closer to the store

thanks for testing it, just 1 question, what value did u put the setup var treetime, the main i tested it on had 72 woodcutting so others lower woodcutting would need a higher time,
nothing important, im just curios

i left that alone to be honest my wc is 45 on the account i tested on and it seemed fine to me

(Haven't checked your procedure…but : ) Why don't you make a DTM of the general store and keep letting it walk north until it's found (with FindDTMRotated i believe…) Or if it's in sight when the script is started, use GetSymbolColor(blabla);

Yakman

2006-09-13 16:05:57

the reason i wont use DTMs is that their colors or positions cannot be altered during runtime, the symbols change color and position dramaticly

part of the script is that if it gets to 6 attempts then it will click somewhere on the minimap to try to get closer to the keeper

look for one of these? really?

i just got the idea from those aryan choppers who did the same thing in lumbrigde east of the general store, i remembers 250k willow logs in the shops stock, i almost gave it up but then i went to rimmington and saw 10 000 willow logs in the general store there, and realised that i could change the script to work in rimmington

it used to be called LWCS, not RWCS. this is acctaully my first full length runescape script (dont tell anyone :wink: ) but that doesnt mean its bad, i knew scar quite well before this.

i accutally meant this to be one of the script you do when you obey the SRL rule "respect your players, switch scripts every so often" also it could help with reporting if a mod looks you up and sees a high woodcutting and mining, they might not report

question: has anyone made something like this script that mines in rimmington mine and sells in the general store? :f:

Many bankers were made. But for just noob leveling that is a great idea. I'd personally use it then! :D

Cool, I have been waiting for a woodcutter. Now all I have to do is remember my runescape accounts…well thanks anyway.

Your friend,

P.S. How do I make the Quick Reply work again? It doesn't work anymore.
