Hey everyone, I was just wondering when Jagex bans your account for macroing do they ban any of your other accounts? ive heard stories of people having their mains (who didnt auto) getting banned as well. Also, how far must you go before Jagex slaps an IP ban on you? what are ways to combat this?

I have 30 players or so, several above level 60-70 and only macroers get banned, no ip bans…
I even use two accounts at once in the same world using VMware… see my tute if interested.
one dude was auto combated in recent times using SCAR up to combat lvl 50 and he isn't banned.

Same here. I have been Playing with 40+ Players for over a year now. Though some are banned (approx 10 or so, all due to f***ups in old SRL-versions or simply in my own scripts..), and my army is "somewhat" reduced :D, I have never been IP banned. My IP hosts also 4 legit High Level Member Players who have never auto-ed, there isnt any reason banning them too…. I still have plenty Miners/Melters/Crafters/Woodcutters/Cookers all well over 40/40/40 avg combat 50+.
Be aware that most -if not all- banning is done purely automatical, without any human interference whatsoever!
TIP: if your Player is "stuck" in a random, or stuck in a script, play legit with it for a while. Do some quests, make some friends, give some stuff away. It helps getting your account unflagged.

I once had characters named plox1 or 01 to I thnk it was 20 before, they slowly started getting banned then one day all of them were I think a few that just got out of tutorial. My main got banned from trading the items from them to my main even tho they went through 2 other guys before trading to my main.

i must be lucky? i've autoed on my main (not for long periods of time) lvl 86. automined, cut, fight.. i multiple log in accounts all the time. never been caught. maybe i should be more carefull?
