Ok, so my friend Curtis and I were really bored and we got into this little argument. He said that the fasted way to alaska involved swimming a whole lot in the ocean. I said that it did not. (asuming that swimming was as fast as lang travel).

So we poped up google maps to find out. And then we got bored looking for a part of alaska to go to, because there is not much in alaska. So we found a highway and started following it around.

And then we found it.

Somehow, there was a freaking house/barn thing.

We also found another picture of a fire pit, which shows how fire affects the satalite image!

yeah thats what i thought too.

but then we found that other picture that showed a fire pit, and it made the same effect.

conclusion:
due to how the satilites scan accros the earth at rediculosly hight speeds, whevener they pass over a spot that is actualy EMiting bright light back at them, they generate that weird spread effect.

Google maps hasn't been updated in like at least 3 - 5years, well where I live anyway, cause if you look where I live the new ice rink (built 3 years ago) is still in the beginning stages of construction

If you download Google maps, you would have 4 points of view, N, S, E, W, each of them look like they were taken in different time periods.
Also, everyone try Window's maps, they look clearer to me.

So from which direction was this picture taken? I guess it was from a slight slant…so this isn't a perfect bird's eye.
