Snow Day, Snow Day,
Have you ever seen a Snow Day?
Where skies are soft and leathery?
When morning looks like night?
When water is so feathery?
Is it water, is it ice?
Neither it is, for neither suffice,
For neither could ever satisfy,
The child's desire to watch it fly

A decent poem that most kids can relate to =]
The last couplet could be worded a bit better I think.

It rhymes fine… You just haven't got the rythm.
You just haven't got the beat.
You haven't been shown,
So get down and stomp 'yo feet.

Nice, but I bet you didn't get a snow day on the First Day of Christmas? ( I call it a snow day because relatives were coming)

Dang, not bad.
Yeah, Snow Day is kinda vague. Most of the time it means 'Vacation from Hell,' which is either your Aunts being delayed a day or school board closing school.

Snow falls from the sky
In tangled, wispy breezes
Joy comes to the child.
