Well, here's my thoughts.

All of the people who have been polled for SSRL and haven't made it, and definitely some other people in the SRL members forum, aren't quite ready for SSRL yet, but they still:

Are much better at scripting

More active

And they try, more than other SRL members. The reason we don't let those people in though is because we are trying to keep SSRL completely leak free, so we need high standards.

What if we made a group with a little bit lower standards, that would still probably have a little leaking in it because any fairly big group does, but it's for the people who can script good, are active, and they still try after becoming a SRL member? (try, as in try to help the community and don't just quit and leach after they become member).

I'm not set on this idea, but I thought I'd ask what everyone else thinks about it.

1. There is enough division through the levels already IMO
2. If they aren't ready to be here, why reward them for not being good enough?
It will just decrease the step to SSRL and it won't be as a big deal to get into
it and people won't be as motivated.

nah. theres already normal > srl junior > srl > ssrl > dev 5 levels of usergroups for scripting talent. imo its already too many, we dont need a new one too lol

How about a SRL member cleaning?

Wizzy did that in December before SMART was released

mod and admin are more on maturity (*cough*) rather then scripting

Yes, as previously stated, another group would be too much division. However, you could give a cup like Markus said, and a title like "Active SRL member" or something of the sorts

If I was allowed I'd help clean the forums, but I doubt I'd be given permissions to do that. Maybe I'll start making a list?

Either way I think there should be a dynamic cup meaning that when your activity is at 90%+ or something you should get an active member cup, but as for a higher scripting talent, the Scripters' Cup is basically that.

Meh, any old leecher can keep themselves active and pump out a script every now and then.

I still think random demotions would be nice. Would give me a chance to get out the couple people I don't like…

I'm going for low activity - low post count - how long since last post.

wow already have 20 peeps :p

Wizzy make a script where you put the names and reasons into a tpa, and then it goes through and shows join date/postcount/etc and posts, and then you press y/n and it goes into admin panel and does the work :p

Lol well I got the list like 1/3 of the way done :p


have like 100 + peeps on it :p

I did skip some peeps… like asdf and some others.


I did setup my list so that he can make a script for it :p
