Updated to 1.5!!! enjoy

reallly good - fast and smooth (used 1.3 goign to try 1.5 later)

but i dont think it detects gas that well, working for 1 hr and 22 minutes until i received a broken pickaxe and it didnt detect the mud golem random for me

nice script. the only negetive is that it is havin some trouble w/ finding gas; i still get broken picks. also, i am finding that sometimes it doesnt work past the log in.

just tried 1.5, dindt detect gas when it appeared
was mining on iron rocks the old kind

1.5 is updated to findgas better and find fights better so try that one.

what should i change the gastol to? if it doesnt detect gas, i just used 1.5 and it didnt detect the gas i saw it happen too

do we have to play on low detail or high detail or does it matter?

i just updated to 1.6, using wizzups gas detection you should be fine with 1.6.

Before I waste my time trying to download this (no offense to your script-it sounds great and I would LOVE to try it) but do I need to have Scar 1.5 to use it? Or will my Scar Divi 3.13 work?

I am so stupid lol:duh: I couldn't even get it to work…I got the fallowing errors:

Couldn't get pick colors, equip or have in inventory


Could someone please tell me what my Srl Id is or how to get and also what the second message means?

Amazing overall 8.5/10 from me It gives some problems with the gas thing and breaks my picks (NOt that it matters for me cause i merchant) but can be problems for low level people who can barely get a rune pic.

il try to fix the gas problem soon.

It works fine for me. The gas detection included. It is also much faster than the other powerminers. So… Good Job. It ran for about 30 minutes before I manually shut it off.

Im testing now, and its cool. God i love my virtual pc's :d

How i can use this with SRL 9?
It sets public chat off-> autoresponder not working.
It doesn't drop last 7 ores. :confused:

If you have problems with finding gas, try increasing the gas tolerance to 20-35.

the latest srl and scar but i use 3.12 scar

How is this different to the other powerminer… surely you can't mine faster than what rs lets you. I would appreciate if you could elaborate on the differences. If not I will try them and post my comparison. Thanks anyway for writing this.

very nice script very efficent and i can actually get it to work

i used it for about an hour with 4 characters and it worked really well until my picks broke from the gas.
other than that it handled randoms pretty well

worked gud, but then it started "panicking", like i mean moving the mouse over the ores but not clicking, and it moved them over lots of em 4 like 5 min or so. then a box came, and it just wigged out and kept clicking the box. anyway i ended manualy. btw im not just a leech, im using your script to help me. instead of just being a noob and complaining about every little problem i have, i do research by looking at examples :D

Most People can get this to work, but if you can't try scar 3.12 and srl 4

i've tried to solve it but im pretty noob at that, my problem is that i says "Couldnt get pick colors, Equip or have in inventory." and have my pick in the inventory if thats what it asks. pls could you help me?

User and Password is to log you out if there is an issue.. or log you in I guess :P

Its your stats username and pass not the forums user and pass. Its so i can receive stats for the script.

Its still not working I got it all set up and first it said Line 34: invalid number of parameters
then I got that to work and it said line 37 out of range? wtf

Don't know what your problem is. If you have newest version of scar n downloaded the srls n includes it should work perfectly. TY for great script.

I was wondering – can you make it so that when it logs out – it logs back into the same account, because i only have one person i want to mine with. Other than that – i love it =)

k, at first the powerminer was great worked for me up to lvl 50 mining, then all of a sudden for about 2 days it would log in mine about 2-3 rocks then just stand there and log out. any reason why it would do that i tried to redownload the script several times to see if that would help and nothing. Thx -Steff

Ok The Progress report on SCAR kept going in mins but here it goes
This is by far the most succesful script I've found
It worked for about an hour without me doing anything Didn't solve many ranodms but i has gotten me from 51 to 55 mining or 54 with 96 exp left and it lost 1 pickaxe head and broke 3 picks with gas

just got it to work it has its +s and its -s

well its super fast changin rocks but i cant always guarantee gas check will work…

i feel that mithril and adamant picks last longer than rune picks.

nah i meant that its not recognizing gas….

ps. it is also not able to overcome the random event (classroom & gameshow)

Also having the option for more picks would be useful for long runs ;)

There is no way to overcome the classroom or gameshow events.

I will think about adding the option for having multiple picks :)

How do i change the script so that it will pick up the gas easier??

oh and one last thing… how about an auto pickhead pickup… for everytime you pickhead flies off, you automatically pick it up and attach it to the handle….

i tried the minner. it clicked my inv. made sure i had a pic. then it turned my run off. then it went to my stats page. then it went back to my inv. after that it did nothing. i tried it at rimmington.

Bypass,

Delete your includes folder. THen, go download srl again through subversian.

Wil. Go learn to script…. I suggest you redownload SRL Rev #10 again. Unknown ID jsut means that it cant find the procedure.

if it doesnt find the rocks then turn new rocks to true which all rocks are new now anyways.

You might wanna tweak the random script because its not initiliazing when certain randoms come. Also Gas needs a bit of work. Overall very good.

i downlaod rev then and scar 3.13, but when i run it i get an error that says i need the wizzy plugin. where can i get that

it worked pretty good. I ran for 1 hour.. Oddly enough I had to gasses. Dectected one but did the other.. Over all a very good script

For some reason, my SCAR only gives alot of small proggies, like these ones, while the script did not stop running. Shouldn't it be giving 1 proggie for everything? Does anyone knows the cause of this, or a way to fix it?

silent mouse was used in Runescape classic, i think its like it clicks for u while u can broswe the web,etc. I think jagex can detect it tho

the gas tolerance is at 25 (default) should i increase or decrease this number because i get quite a few broken picks :(

also~ i was watching it work…when i got pinball: it kinda froze up and i had to do it myself

Im using both of those and i still get this error:

O and by the way, you have some players usernames and passwords saved on your new script.

thanks for mentioning it and you have to set your players up correctly.

make sure you set howmanyplayers correctly and delete unused player slots.

Alright thanks i got it working. Im pretty sure my guy hit an exploding rock cuz i was watching the script for awhile and then i turned way for a min or two and then i saw the script logging me out cuz my pick was busted and my hp was down. Heres the proggie from that time:

Hey…no need to say that…but ive watched it…and when a random appears it doesn't talk to it. Sandwich lady, the security guard, or even the guy with the cross bow, it starts talking to me and the script keeps on mineing and i end up somewhere else across runescape! so thanks for telling me im full of shit! cause thats the last time i use ur script :)

this is a nice script, it's really effecient. althought i find it keeps dropping extra pickaxes that are in my bags and after about 15 mins it seems im not at the mining placeanymore. a few times i came back and was sitting in the lumbridge basement, another time i wasin the mage tower. not sure whats goin on there.

after it logs me in it doesnt do anything…. not sure wat im doing wrong??

You need to go read a tutorial in the Tutorial island section, look for setting up scar, and youl be good to go. ;)

Same exact thing happens to me… Also when randoms come, my mouse just hovers over them, but does nothing =X

next version i will try a better gas finder.

as you can see this script doesnt bank, use masterkills varrock east miner for a banker.

Man.. this script is awesome. Its the first script that's worked for me :p Was pretty funny because i started it up and half way through my load of iron 2 guys near me were joking around. And right after the joke the script made my character say "lol". I thought that was pretty cool.
It handles randoms pretty well also. It's good at strange boxes but it doesn't seem to respond to rock golems.

When I go to use it, instead of clicking on the inventory icon, it clicks on my stats tab. So instead of dropping ore, it right clicks on a skill then hits cancel, and repeats. Any help?

FOr me it just logs in, click on my stats button, mines one iron ore and then it starts clicking my stats as if It is trying to drop ore. It tries to drop ore for ever, nothing happens…:confused:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't you re-login if the player is already logged in when the script starts? According to http://www.villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=16602, if the script doesn't log you in (if you were already logged in), then randoms won't work. Again, you most definitely know more about this than me, as I just started using SRL (and SCAR for that matter). So, if I'm wrong, well, I tried. :D

When I found broken pickaxe, then I have to change this number to bigger or smaller? And how much?

This version actually runs for me, which was an issue with the previous release (1.9) however, all it will do is login, click inventory and such, and tell me it found the pickaxe. after that it simply doesnt mine. I'll try it out a couple more times to see if its something I'm doing wrong or what.

If you have any suggestions as to what I could do to fix it that would be great. Thanks for your hardwork on this script btw! :)

I tried using it on one acc (didnt want to try to get pickaxes in hand on my other acc's) and it works ok until it logs out and then it looks like it keeps trying to log in, cept it's clicking on the wrong place so it cant type. It gets in a repeating loop at the login screen, just moving the mouse around.

Anybody know why? Can I make the script shut itself down instead?

Remember the button is your friend. Do not double or triple post. People will be more likely to help you if you don't keep on nagging people and making so many posts in a row. And in answer to your question about unsigned and signed, a signed client creates a random.dat file and a jagex_cache_32 (I think) but a unsigned client won't.

kolleman (if tahts how you spell it :P) the proggie will apear after every load in the debug box (box at the bottom of the scar window) it'll tell ya how many loads how many ores/hour and sutff like that jsut highlight it and crt+c and crt+v it into the forums.

this is a great power miner altho my pc will lag when my char moves causeing some minor issues over all great power miner

Decided to actually post a decent msg, i like it just the picks annoy me but anyways it works great, well done keep it up :)

Hmm, I ran the script, first off it wouldn't recognise I have a pick if it was equipped (yes I set equipped to true), so I changed it to false and unequipped it and it recognised it.

Then it logs in, sees I have pick, goes to stats then goes back to inventory then just stops with mouse over inventory…

My brightness is V Bright.. Do I require a different setting or something?

alrite…i found the problem….i got scar 3.12D (from www.freddy1990.com) and got my srl and includes from that…then it started working!…l8r it says(after compiling) that there is a math error on line 200 in …/login.scar

I'm trying to do this with a single player. When I run it, scar just keeps returing "You have a Bronze Pick." It's like stuck in a loop.

Make sure you follow the tutorials in the forum and download subversion and use scar to download all the includes such as SMART and SRL. Didn't work for me either until I did this.

Xentha that is'nt a problem I think its just a bug because mines does that but it still works.

If you are getting the FindObjOre2 Error Change it to FindObjOre and you should be good!!!!

nice script! only one question why does it only run for 1 hour i saw in your proggie's that you have 4+ hour's why will it only run 1 for me?

please note i am useing the modded srl u know with the smart always enabled

im not 100% sure but i think what you need to do is find the part of the scrip that says "FindObjOre2" and change it to "FindObjOre"

but as you can see by my above posts i am having trouble aswell so i dont realy know, but i geuss its worth a try

Ok ive ran this script through last night, not much of a proggie because i alternate between 3 accounts, and i hav to reset it often because it doesnt handle randoms very well, but otherwise, it's a good script, also the only free for all mining script that isnt outdated, 4/5.

kil8er: MMCX is a constant that is meant to be in the SRL\Core\Globals.scar file, check that file to see if it is there, if not i could post a copy of what is meant to be there for you

hello again, ive realised another flaw i am facing with this script, it kinda just goes once through each account, then stops, is it meant to be starting again with the first account or not?

Ran this with single player powermining iron and UseResponder set to False (quiet area and I was checking in on it) and it stopped with a broken pick (bronze…lol) and 2 hp. See the progress report below. Anti-ban features seem very good and a lot of randoms get handled (got stuck on Mordaut). The mouse handling looks very nice and natural. Very fast drop speed, but no option to not drop gems, etc. (part of the reason it's so fast, i'm sure). All-in-all, I think this is one of the nicest scripts in the Free area that I've seen so far.

I still can't get it to log in very well for me and I've had this problem with most other scripts. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with Windows Vista. Particularly when switching to the next player, it will go to the log in screen, move the mouse to username, but nothing gets typed. If I switch focus to another screen while it's in the middle of running, I can see it actually typing the username and password, so it's trying to type the right info, but it almost behaves like it's not getting the focus of the login screen or not clicking (just pointing the mouse there) or something like that. Any ideas on that?

UPDATE: If I go into Login.scar and comment out the first "ActivateClient;" command and then run the QuickPowerminer script and switch to the RuneScape window manually, everything works fine and it switches from one one player to the next with no problems. Something about ActivateClient isn't quite right. Is that defined somewhere?

Did you get this while trying to mine copper? It might be having trouble finding the copper (color change?). I tried raising the tolerance from 5 up to like 9 and still got the same problem in Fally south mine. I haven't had any problems mining tin or iron anywhere, though.

I think i have fixed the problem i mentioned earlier, correct me if i am wrong(i am new to SCAR), but in the MainLoop procedure, it has a loop within a loop, and a break statement in the inner one which im sure was only meant to break the inner loop, but i think is breaking both, i think i have fixed this by putting a loop around part of the main procedure (the one the ends with an end.), but this is only a quick, easy way out, and will have other side effects, someone who is better than me at SCAR should be able to fix it properly, or at least tell me that me theory on it is wrong.

sunny: i dont believe it matters, but i prefer to have it logged out.

Sunny: Mine constantly tells me i hav a bronze pickaxe also, i just ignore, as for your actual error though, check your file and internet access firewall settings in the options, if either of them is set the 'disallow all', that could be your problem, set them to 'allow all' (dont bother setting 'Always ask' it interupts your script too much). It actually caught the gasses this time, probably because I was using a bronze pick instead of an addy pick (Murphy's Law and all that). This run stopped on Sgt Damien.

hi this script misses the username: and password: sometimes and at the moment it logs in checks stats goes back to inventory and then just stands there

Runs perfectly for me, speed is fine. Only problem I can see so far is that it's constantly reporting which pickaxe I'm holding in the debug box. Otherwise, good job :). I'm using it on one account so when I ran it, it came up with an "Out of Range" error. I just replaced the other 3 account spots with the same account for it to run smoothly. Changing the number of players didn't work either for some reason. FindObjOre2 Error also appeared, but I just removed the 2.

PS: I tried SMART, it kind of messes up since the unsigned version takes a while to load. It assumes I don't have a pickaxe and stuff cause they haven't loaded yet. For some reason it also won't log in. I logged in manually and then let it run, and it works fine.

EDIT: A run function would be good too, unless there's one and I haven't noticed it :P.

EDIT2: I don't see the reason, but my anti-randoms aren't working. Niles and Security Guard were completely ignored by the bot.

Works like a charm! Coal mining only could be a little bit faster, unless that small thing it works fine!

after I folowed that everything went fine to me, except the findobrobject2 or somting but just delete the 2 from that word and it should work fine…


question, why doesn't this update my stats on stats.srl-forums.com ? I have everything correctly filled in on the script..
also when I find a gas, it just keeps on mining causing my axe to break, isn't this script supposed to not make that happen

dont use the script in al karid then, try varrock east or dwarven mines

Good script, had it run for about 2 hours until the pick axe head flew off. Although one slightly weird thing is that in between the time interval when mining the mouse moves around a right clicks the inventory for no reason, not sure why.

Like many other people have said, the gas detection doesn't work very well. My pickaxe broke 4 times…

I filled in all my details etc. but it just doesn't work!
I have tried with and without equipped a pickaxe (and true/false values)
I have tried High and Low details
I have tried using a different pickaxe

But it just doesn't work!!!:duh:

It just logs on, then logs off! Very frustrating!
It seems to walk around a bit when there are no rocks on screen.
If I set "Pick equipped?" to True it checks the equip screen, then logs off!

The script went through the login but thats all that it did. It didn't start mining. Also the nick name was quite confusing, and it wouldn't let me leave it blank. i am using 3.15b and sub 16.

I needed to get my mining up for quicker pure essence and this worked awesomely. Good Script! :)

This code works good for a short time. When I comeback after leaving it for a long time it is always logged off and with a broken pickaxe.

What part of the code do I moadify to make it detect the gas better?

i just updated so no one should have problems with the pickaxe finding…

Can you fix one minor problem thats making everyone have broken pickaxes?
You see it checks the pickaxe's color and to see if gas is coming out and if this is false it mines the rock otherwise it walks away.
Can you make it so that it checks the rock colors after it clicked on the rock like to double check but not click this time.


I was mining with this and it checked the rock and once it clicked on the rock, gas started coming out of the rock but it continue to mine since it thinks that the rock is safe to mine.

The fix was grate :)

I had a few problems with droping the ore it missed out like 9 ore's, so i fixed it myself maybe you should put that in your next fix am sure it wouldnt take you long

Yeah, my test account's only up to lvl 38.:redface:
I got past that non-pickaxe-recognising thing by increasing the color tolerance on Addy axes but then when I got back I had lost my pickaxe head. I guess I didn't change that part it uses to find dropped heads.:(

Also, could you add an option to keep gems and/or items from random events?
Although that would probably mean this script would have to go to the section that noobs like me can't access. Shootin' myself in the foot again…

You'll have to become a member to be able to access scripts that can make money for you. :( (such as an ess miner+banker)

it "boomed" the gass.. and it found a fighting random (inflicted damage by the "boom");
it seems the gassfinder is still not flawless called:(

the gasfinder is properly called but it fails way too much, ive run it on my screenies of gas and it doesnt detect…

if you want pvh you can make a gas detector for me..

BOTTOM LINE: IM NOT UPDATING THE GAS FINDER FOR A LONG TIME….

I tried to run the script on 3.15b svn 16 and it loaded up runescape but once it got into runescape it gave me this error [Runtime Error] : Exception: Access violation at address 006CF132 in module 'scar.exe'. Read of address FFFFFFFC in line 227 in script C:\Program Files\SCAR 3.15\includes\SRL/SRL/Core/Login.scar I don't know what i means or what i am doing wrong

I GOT IT TO WORK!! as i stated in an earlier post i was having an issue with loggin.scar file trying to write my user name to TheFile i deleted this line and saved it and ran it again worked great. it detected gas well. but it kept on clicking on rocks that had already been mined so all in ill it still doesn't work great i am going to change the colors and then see if it works better.

Two bugs found:
1- i did put 3 loads only but it did 13. i went to see television and i when i came back it was logged off RS.
2- also when i logged in back my pickaxe (wich was a bronze pickaxe, unwielded) was loose. There was just the handle in my inventory, so i think the FindLostPick is not working correctly.
It is still a very nice script, those bugs were just suggestions, not complaints.

hey, i tested it again and when the pickaxe`s head flyed, the char walked in the square of the pickaxe`s head but it didn`t pick up, and logged off.

Hey, great script, but my char never finds gases for some reason.
Another problem is that when i use multiplayer, and it logs of, it tries to log onto the other character, but it doesnt type anything. Any suggestions?

This is a very good script indeed, but it has serious problems with detection gas. Also, finding lost pickaxe head and merging them together is also bugged i think. Else its by far the best powerminer! it works great with iron rocks underneath the grand tree :D:D

I used this auto miner, but for me, everytime it attempts to mine an ore it laggs like hell, taking 10 secs for the screen the unfreeze..

The script really looks good, but the laggs ruin it for me, is it my computer or is it the script?

It shouldn't lag than.
I'm not sure but if the script find the rocks by FindBitmap, thats what may cause lag to you.
But the best person to answer you would be Timothegreat as he created the script.

About filling the declare players (i think its function DeclarePlayers, you will find that in probably every script that have multiplayers or if it can log in your character)

i have leave it 2 hours and when i go back it was logged out. it has mate 2 loads and in my inventory i fount a pickhandle and a head. I have attach it. The other time my pickaxe was broken.

If I'm not wrong line 40 is this one:

Players[0].Name :=''; //Here you must write your Runescape Name.
Example:
Players[0].Name :='Example';

You probably write something wrong or did erase some letter or anything, that line should not cause bug, it must be something easy to fix.
Timothegreat may answer to your question better than I did.

I also noticed in 3.2 that setting auto responder to False didn't turn off auto respond. I usually watch it mine, then whenever anyone talks to me, I type in a response myself. Any plans to make it able ot turn off, or is this the first you've heard of this issue?

Will edit with progress report in the morning - looking forward to another 25 levels gained :D

Turning off the autoresponder was in previous versions, i forgot to remove that feature. If you want that feature though, i can add it back in soon. ;)

Another possible issue I ran into was detection for the "swarm of flies" and "rock golem" randoms. I ran into one of each, and I watched as my dude continued mining through about 5 hits from each (all misses) before I decided to take matters into my own hands and run him to some other rocks.

Next time they show up, I'll let it play out and see if I jumped the gun, and report what happens. Just thought you'd like to know.

I was mining copper in the drawven mines, it logged me off when I got a Giles random. It really didnt find 144 gasses, it just kept acting like one was there, went it really wasn't.

You have to set up a stats account witch is like on this website. Than you can either green out or delete the unused. I myself delete the unused characters.

It has to do with line 681, which is beginslot:= slot1 - 1;. Timo uses DropIt(1, 28) for one of his, and you can't create an InvBox on inventory slot 0, since there is none. I'd post this and what I said on his script topic so he's aware of the error

I found the problem

ok i still cannot get this working it still dose not find my addy pick or it spends the whole time compiling.

I can run other scripts fine it just seems to be this one :P is there anything im doing wrong?

Never mind i realized where i went wrong xD got it all working fine now looks like a great script ^_^

I must say i fixed my problem and now the script is working fine!, it run for 8 hour's straight for me until i had a power cut >.<!.

i went from 1 to lvl 57 mining in about 6-7 hours nice work again.

One more thing though,Itwould be nice to have it so it does all the randoms like "odd one out" were you pick witch one dosent belong,Or the Dragon one were you get a bbook that gives xp.But all and all nice work

Like waddo's script this script isn't very accurate after it right clicks, It right clicks perfectly but usually misses the "mine" or "drop" left clicks :(

Just be patient because of the new rs update thing's have changed color's ect. The script's work perfectly fine if you set the screen to the right colour!. plus ok it may not log you in but this people who right them do have LIVES to!.

You can still run scripts - just use the login.scar fix and the gametab fix.

If you use low detail and turn every extra shadow, detail, scenery, etc. off then you should be able to run the script. Just change the newore colors on lines 63-70 if you have problems with that.

works EXCELLENT. forgot to copy my proggie before closing -.-;; ill post one later tho. only actual problem is dropping i've encountered is dropping screws up a bit sometimes and i have to fix it. otherwise, VERY well done.

That is a problem with srl from the new rs update, not a problem with this script.

I just had to comment on how great this autominer is. It detects ores perfectly every single time! I applaud the author. Other than the identified drop glitch, it definetely works.

This is my first SCAR script and it's working great. Had to tweak the colors a bit, but once that was done it works great. You mentioned something about giving you rep, but I'm new so don't know how to do that :(

Also, is posting progys just copying the text that shows up in scar?

Working great. Only problem I'm having is gas. I've lost 3 picks now because of it. On the plus side i've been using bronze pics so it's not a big loss, but I hope to switch to coal and my rune pic soon. Need to d osomething about that gas first. Any thoughts?

Script works fine but it doesn't let me switch players. When I get to my # of loads it does a summary then has a message for logout. But it doesn't do anything. It just starts the script up again with the same player. Is this something that will have to wait for R18?

You gotta read the intro forums. The nickname is 3-4 letters of your name. Ie if i'm Slolivin I would put loli or something like that.

Frenzeeh, maybe you forgot the new includes. It is down at the bottom of the first post, they need to be replaced in the SRL folder.

Yeah, this script mines good, but for dropping, it just uses the ores with one another.

I tried redownloading the script but still doesn't work.

You'll get the "findobjore" error if you're on rev 17 or 18.

Update back to 16, and use the gametab.scar and login.scar along with it. And it'll run fine.

And to downdate, you need to reinstall SRL again.

1. Open Scar
2. Tools > Options
3. Click the SRL Download tab
4. In Download Type choose Subversion Repository
5. In the Subversion Repository box, click checkout
6. Wait a few minutes until the cmd window (black window) disappears
7. Click OK
8. File > Update SRL SVN to Rev; type in 16; OK
9. Voila!

If you're having trouble when the script drops your ore, open up Text.scar in your /includes/SRL/SRL/core folder and edit line 217:

Line 217: Mouse(B.X1 + 5, y + 1, Random(B.X2 - B.X1), random(13), True);

Edit to: Mouse(x + 5, y + 1, Random(B.X2 - B.X1), random(13), True);

Before I edited it, the program would click to the far left of the 'Drop' text 80% of the time. After the edit, it only messes up on 2 inventory slots.

I tweaked this for rev 20 and added my own banking capabilities.

this should be enough to fix the problem. This program worked for me for like 2 hours but then I died and lost all but 1 item :S

I also recommend changing "tol" in line 114 and 129 (might be different lines for you) from "5" to like "3" and also dont depend on the in-built colors in the program, you should rather adjust them yourself each time you open the program in lines 81-97.

i just dont get it i cant ever get these things to work for me it is always telling me multiple errors in the part that i have no clue what to do with it
