Dumb jagex RWT's still exist!

Lol its rather sad, i just recently thought of this.

Player A buys the gold from the RWT

Player B(rwt) get the equal amount in items to the gold.
(for ex. the player buys 14m, which is also equal to a d-chain)

RWT uses a noob account to check if a world has no bounty players.

Player B lets Player A kill him.
their the transaction is complete.

great job fagex.

Good luck finding an empty Bounty World, but hey, good idea ;)

plus you have to pray that you can last 3 minutes after you kill the noob…

your skull will be bright red after you pick up a d chain so if a person happens to walk by and sees you then you are fucked.

thats why i said make sure theres no one in there….then the person with the chain will become your target, and you can kill him and just leave, you dont get a penalty if their your target…

I think there's a certain amount of players for a bounty hunter game to open.

2007-12-30 00:35:19

There is no way possible ever unless you a lvl 126 but that doesn't allow you to go in the low level or med lvl spots.

Use world 156.

ZaSz

2007-12-30 00:47:07

156 have bounty hunter?

idk but if it does use it, about 10-20 ppl on that world =p, and think it does.

They removed the world before the bounty hunter update so I doubt it would be on there.

If you do this make sure you bring tons of ppots and agility pots. Just keep running since the arena is so big. You have to have quick reactions. The second you see someone on your screen book it in the other direction. Most bounty hunters won't bring a ton of agility pots so it will be reasonably easy to avoid them if you react quick enough.

You can trade anything for free once your level 50+

L3ss Than 33

2007-12-30 11:28:58

Is that true dangerous? B/c I traded 2m from 1 account to another with no cap limit. They're both 50+ so that's probably why. I was wondering why everyone else was talking about a cap limit and I never saw any =/

Dangerous Garden Tools

2007-12-30 12:32:04

I believe it is. My bro lvl 53 couldnt trade my lvl 43, i think both players must be 50+

they said something on how long you have been playing so recent created players wont be able to trade you can still trade more than 3k tho

How about you go in with no items and do prayer "Protect Item" then if someone kills you, you keep your dchain? ;)

Smart =] but that still doesn't solve the fact that people around you can see that what you're carrying is worth a lot and that you're not allowed to leave the arena for a set time period.

I was thinking that you could wait a while before picking it up, but I think there's a pick-up rule too that extends your time and doesn't allow you to leave.

They disabled that option in Bounty Hunter.

That's great then!
Figure out how long it takes for an item to disappear once dropped by a PvP kill. Then pick it up 5 seconds before that time. A little risky, but hey isn't it always?

Another option is to hire a big clan to protect you… I don't know how reasonable that is lol

A RWT could just give a noob account that has the money to the player.

pro2oman

wait could you not log on a another player (3rd payer) and then pick up the loot when it spoons and the get the hell out of there with no penalty?

so the seller (player 1)
the buyer (player 2)
and the buyer main (player 3)

you go in payer 1 the money items( rune-g, d-chain w/e)
and then on player 2 to the killer (kill close an exit)
then the kill is done you then then log in on player 3 and wait for the item to spoon because you know where it will be, pike it up and get the hell out of there.
there always a chance of someone trying to kill player 3 but then you still on player 2 and could double team him and add a player for from the seller. but that would need multi-log and well still risky.

Theoretically that would work. However, there's no point in having the risk of a third player. If the third player is standing there for a minute, a clan would eventually come along and massacre you. The best way is just to use two accounts and protect item.

ya i tested with an steel axe and some arrows the player 3 could only see bone may if i waited long but there was only bones. of that may be a no go anyway

That would be interesting. Getting onto an unlisted world that has Bounty Hunter is a different story…

what happends if a j mod comes to an unlisted world and ban your assess.

that'd be very bad for us

sp0rk had already posted an idea like this. Just get a small clan to protect Player A for other random ppl. Then Player B comes and kills Player A takes the item and leaves.

Xorg

2008-01-03 18:13:52

All these solutions won't work.
1: protection prayer is disabled in bounty hunter
2:you only get the penalty if you pick up loot, not for killing another player. So if your third player comes in to get the loot, he will get the 3 minute penalty.
3:hiring a clan? LOL, why wouldn't the clan kill you after you got the item? That way, they have the money you payed them and the item. How would you pay the clan anyway? 3k a time? Mayby if you could get some irl friends to protect you, but you need many friends to get protected from the huge clans.
4:don't forget it's multiple combat. Everyone else will attack the player with the red/whatever skull. It's not even sure you will get the item if you have bad luck and don't hit high.
5:it seems there must be at least 10 players in the game, so you've got 8 potential enemies ready to kill you.

Just face it: Jagex did one hell of a job, congrats on that. Too bad they ruined pking by getting rid of RWT. But new players won't care, because they never knew pking as it used to be. And with the solo-arena's coming, it might become a little more fun again.

People can still do RWT by simply giving Powerleveling/GP earning service for Real Cash, or selling accounts for real cash.

And risking that you are getting banned for autoing/account sharing. Or that your account gets fucked up, in case of a pure.
The second thing is still an option, but it's not very usefull if you got a good account already.
Millionselling was THE reason why there were 100's of lvl3's at the yews. It's solved now.
