unsigned applet means that it does not have permisson to store any files on your computer,
so why is uid so important if the unsigned applet cannot do anything to it

unsigned applet means its not using uid, i didnt think those two things go in the same sentance like that

can someone explace fakawi's statement in more detail

Just delete uid.dat before loggin on and make sure you choose the unsigned applet.

but why is deleting uid nessecary when its unsigned? the unsigned applet cant write files on your computer

He ment you could do either unsigned, or delete the UID.

woooo i have jsut had a look and runescape has a folder now not just that fiel store 32 any more hehe
