Ok, this is not found by me, I found this on the rs forums…
Well, When you look at the three Dev. diaries on runescape, you always see an image on top of the diary, and, on every image (there are 3 atm), there's a piece of the possible icon of the Summoning Icon, here it is (yes I used paint lol)
(There are 3 peices, as the 4th and last dev. diary of summuning hasn't been released yet, we miss the topright part of the (?)icon(?))

It looks a bit like some kind of bird or wolf or whatever…

Ya, most likely it is a beastie head of some kind on a shield. Like a heraldic symbol or something. I never would have noticed this if it wasn't pointed it. Again nice post.
