I was wondering if anyone has been playing it often enough to fill me in on strategy regarding it…

I am upset about wildy being gone, but I still want to make the best of it and have fun killing noobs lol.

So I have some questions for "experts" on bounty hunter (if there are any lol)

- Are pures useless now?
- How big are the pking groups that go out there and what would be a decent sized pk group to take there (without being slaughtered)?
- Does anyone even try to kill their target? or is it useless to try?
- Where are the hotspots to find and actually fight people (ie: like old hill giant area, castle, lvl 1…)

If you guys have any other good info that you think is usefull, then please let me know :D

i don't know anything about it, but i saw some "getting owned" vids. google it? meh on youtube are vids anyway :)

as far i i know nobody try to kill his target. its just ''rush!''

- Where are the hotspots to find and actually fight people (ie: like old hill giant area, castle, lvl 1…)
there no real hotspots, the most fights are on the place were you spawn.

pures are really useless now because everyone can kill you, and you get hit alot. noone tries to kill their target, they just atk anyone.. i hate it! i dont know much more =P

lol obviously…i went in once solo with a pure + iron scimmy -.-

i got piled after i wandered for 10 minutes and just never went back after that.

So I really just need to know the usefullness of pures (seeing as that i am auto-training them now).

EDIT: @Kor I see where you are coming from, but have you had experience pking with pures in bounty hunter yet or are u just assuming?

Far from! A friend went on our pure to BH, and he got a few rune scimmys (attack 30 pure, so he used addy)

Yay im a lil happier now…i thought that my pure autoing would go to waste…

I guess im gonna give BH a good shot now and hope that I dont get pwned too much lol :D

well this is what i think, if you got a pure that has combat lvl around 50 then you can pretty much own if a team dont pile you. but there is a but, my pure is combat 63 so i have to enter the 55-100 arena and i think you can pretty much guess how long i survive in there. i have'nt tried out bounty hunter that much so im not so experienced.

btw what do u mean with i see where your coming from..? =P just asking : )

i just tried bh with my pure range, lvl 48 with 70 range. i killed some peeps in f2p but p2p is way harder

I guess i am the only one who tries to kill his target. (sigh)

I'm keeping my 70 91 70 pure. Since there is a 50-100 cave, ill prolly get my str 99. Then if i am not past lvl 100, ill get prayer higher.

Lol most of the time, theres one itemers waiting at the exit, and DDS Spec you.

i've died so many times, i've given up.
its an absolutely horrible update.
looking forward to 1v1 arena in .. 6 months.. darn.

i went in alone on a level 8x full iron. I found a pure ranger and started attacking because she started it. She could hit for 15s so i was in for a good fight. Then about 30 seconds into the fight i got gangbanged by 15 other people. You need a huge clan to do bounty hunter.

It is basically pure chaos in the bounty hunter mini game. The doors make it easy for people to escape at any time (even if they just pop in for a second and then leave). There are plenty of noobs who pop in, attack you once then immediately leave. Additionally, the "clans" are huge. I wouldnt really call them clans, since they're more hugely disorganized mobs. On f2p at least they assume any1 with the same team cape is on their team (pretty stupid lol). It's a long stretch from the old pking times. It's wholly disorganized, pures are useless, and since you appear at a random place in the bounty arena, you can't enter with a friend.

Do you gain xp in bounty hunter?
And are there set times for games, like "next game starting in 10mins".
So there's no limit on how much worth of items you bring into bounty hunter, right?
And what is the maximum number of players that can play in bounty hunter?
Is it 64?
