Ok, well, i'v been actually having problems with this like 2 or more months(actually since i got new BIOS and Windows(before it, computer wasn't working))…since I don't used my second computer much i didn't turned much attention…Now, when I need them both…and I'm working with this computer(what has problems…), i need this "error" fixed…

Problem:
FindNormalRandoms takes 5700 - 6300 ms wtf?!?
but not always, sometimes when I restart my computer, it takes 250-350 ms, and then start to take over 6 sec again…I had same problem FindFastRandoms if it helps…

Code what I use:
procedure FindnormalrandomsTime;
var time1, time2 : longint;
begin
if not loggedin then exit;
wait(100);
Time1 := getsystemtime
findnormalrandoms;
time2:= getsystemtime
writestatus('FNRandoms took '+inttostr(time2 - time1)+'ms');
wait(100);
end;

and computer is very "Ok", it can't be because of computer… 1,5Ghz, 256 ram, 32 int video…

but it's not about computer… before the problem existed it took only 300 - 500 ms…

If any more info needed please just say…i need to get it to take 300 ms again, i can't test my chickenkiller(It clicks on chicken, when 6 sec is past, and chicken is already killed, it starts to find fight…lol)

eh… second computer is having problem, that mouse(procedures) is(are) super slow…

example: I set mouse speed to 60… then it is same fast as with 10 on other computer…
EDIT: and it does wierd movements, example when it starts to get near destination point(like 30 pixels away) it slows down the speed…

eh…Thx
All help is welcome

Actually, I don't think the randomfinding has something to to with drivers, rather the specs of the computer. Now this isn't exactly a new comp, now is it?

Anyway, really sorry I couln't help. =/

She said wipe your RAM not your hard drive. Very different things :p basically they are saying that the only way to stop it from happening is to restart your computer… Also make sure you use msconfig and make it so that the programs that run at startup are only the vital ones, I have only one that runs, which is my antivirus. Try not to run too many programs either, check task manager to see if there are some running that probably shouldn't be. One I always close is IpodService which runs when you open iTunes, but of course your not always actually connecting or using your iPod so it is not necessary. Also turn that off in the services tab at startup in msconfig :p

She? lol:D

well, after starting computer i always end un-needed programs with task manager, but I haven't heard anything about microsoft config?

and btw, I don't have antivirus, I just don't download anything what could include viruses, so no need…btw, I don't know does it intrests you or not…my computer teacher don't have antivirus for 4-5 years, all is working fine :p

Can you explain mscfg? (whats that)(basically I can understand what it means, but is it file or something or is it in op.system already)
:confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:

go to start->run
type in msconfig and press enter. it shows everything your computer loads on startup, etc.
