hmm.. I guess I could help you out a little bit. As I know visual basic pretty well but don't know scar very well at all. I am just finishing up my vb book in school. Tbh I hated it, but to me making controls and forms is pretty easy.

Start by looking at source code on
www.pscode.com under the Visual Basic section. Download some, and learn. That's what I did anyways.

Go to the library and borrow 'The idiots guide to VB" (I learnt the basics from there). If you want RS-based programs, do what R0b0t says and read some tutorials at Cruels (
http://cruels.net/).

easiest way too learn:
YouTube - type visual basic too search, and you'll get lot of replies…if you have ever tried making form with scar then it's pretty same vb6
