Ok.. so ive heard from a guy that is a mod on rs.. and he told me that normal eggs Egg info for n00bs :) would go up to like 700 or even 1k ea..

as u can see the first egg is normal.. so start collect these and u might get a nice 5m or so :)

NOTE: IM NOT 100% SURE ABOUT THIS!, but if its true sell when the skill comes out!

I see no reason for an egg to go up in value that much…..

Summoning might possible have to do with hatching…?

true but that thing is.

A- we dont have an egg collector
B- this might not be true
C- I would just prefer to auto on other stuff until this happens

Ya somewhere in one of the Summoning Update Diaries they mentioned something about eggs. I have a few in the bank, but I doubt they will raise up that much when summoning comes out, but I am sure they will have something to do with summoning and it might be a wise thing (and wouldn't hurt) to get some in the bank before January. I'll try and find the info on eggs that I found on the RS website.


I found it, its in the Summoning Development Diary 2 near the bottom. They have a picture of all the eggs in Rs and a quote about eggs under it. And also they mention having implemented the use of eggs into Summoning nearly 3 years ago. So…I am going to start collecting some eggs on a few of my characters. It won't hurt any so why not.

3 Of them are birds eggs from the birdnest random during woodcutting. For Example http://tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2item_id=1277
I doubt that the regular eggs will go up that mutch, but you never know for sure.

I can see the nest eggs going up a bit though. I mean I've only gotten about 3 so far from 50 woodcutting to 62.

And I think this might be a good way to start working on my scripting by making an egg collector.

i think i can buy 50 eggs at once at the bank chest from RFD quest =p

EDIT: won't work cause you could only sell 3k profit, and currently eggs are worth like 4gp on GE.

This won't work. You can buy like 50 eggs at the Recipe For Disaster Quest.
I think you can also buy them in port sarim? Probably at infinity.

I doubt that it would go up too much. Else newbs would never be able to finish cook's assistant since people would always be looting the eggs!

i dont think its realy a good idea but if someone feels like writing a script to pick up and bank eggs on f2p ill be happy to test it

I remember reading that they wanted to do something with the bird's eggs you get when cutting trees in members, but I don't think regular eggs will be put to use.

This is a lie that picture does not have a regular egg in front it has been edited. he is just laughing while noobs go around collecting thousands of eggs lol.
