I know we all get tired of certain SRL-Member applications.

Taking this application for example:

Even though he tends to swear alot, that doesn't allow us to swear.

Don't let ignorant appliers like these reduce our moral standards.
Don't get dragged along with his swearing, and bad attitude, try not to swear at all, it leads to nothing but trouble.
Please report these posts using the Report Post button (or PM me), rather than swearing.

How is KYAB any different than here? If anything you should be MORE professional at KYAB's forums considering solar has granted you moderation-ship, maybe you should be setting good examples.

I'll just back hugo up and say that it is different at KYAB.

It's totally different spirit there, but hey I'll just leave the convo and avoid getting flamed..

As for language I try to keep it in the BBQ pits. As anything "goes" there… Otherwise I might slip once in awhile. I know this forum is low key on language. I'm guessing n3s was just in a bad mood at the time. Try to take a deep breath next time n3s? lol

ice fire, dude we are different at KYAB. Not that I am all for this swearing crap, cuz i dont swear, but I don't be a whiny baby about it. People can express themselves as they please at KYAB. SRL Has higher speech standars, so what? We are both great communities, and if you REALLY have a problem with speech at KYAB, talk to solar about it. I think you'll get a *ahem* nice response…

That this thread was purely intended to get people to not over react and to show maturity, purely on SRL. AFAIK KYAB has nothing to do with that story ergo it's off-topic.

If we can't stay on topic here I'll take other measurements.

i find it bloody disgraceful to see this.

its more than just language people, it is the entire atmosphere.

swearing, although normally correlates with a bad attitude, is not really the problem here.

we need to be doing the best we can to keeps this forum a positive helpful environment.

There is nothing to prove here, no reason to put anyone else down, nothing of the sort, i mean, reputation is even disabled here!

If you have something constructive to say, something that may be helpfull, then go ahead and say it, but if it is something that is just guna make things worse, keep it to yourself.

it is pointless to make selfish posts on this forum, put them in your diary or blog or something.

It made me very sad to see an application go so wrong…
but then wizzup made a great post, and it was going just fine, everything was fixed and perfect again.

And then in that VERY post, that.. attitude thing, comes right back.
whats up with this? Can you not see it? Can you not tell when you make an aggressive post? It's very obvious to me, and also the person you are making it towards.
