I haven't PKed in RS for about 2 years, and I haven't played RS for about 1 year (autoing does not equal "playing" in the normal sense).

All I see around this forum are people bitching and moaning about the new PK update and how it ruins PKing. Anyone wanna explain to me HOW it ruins PKing? I read the changes they made but they just made me shrug and go meh. Am I missing something or are people just overreacting?

My personal feelings on this - RS is just a game. Also, life is a bitch. If Jagex does something that you don't like, please don't post here complaining about it (not trying to act like a mod here), because frankly, I don't think people actually give a shit. Just keep playing RS and when you are bored/too old/tired of it, look back at it later in life and you'll laugh at how much you used to care about the game.

its really no big deal for srl people (cause we dont really pk unless were pures)
and the part your missing is that wats the point for auto fighter for pures when we dont pures any more
and jagex is runied cause thay have lost over 200 thousand people
some people are saying there bout 70% of them were members that quit
so yer its no big deal for all we skillers here

Firstly I practically only autoed and pked… And secondly I don't think we freaking need anymore threads about this shit..

Actually what I wanted to know was how it affects regular players, not autoers. They're the ones who are/were complaining the most.

They removed wildy, and replaced it with some stupid minigame.

also its not based on combat level anymore…

so i get piled with my lvl 30 pure by 10 55s as soon as i step in…gay

i do like clan wars though ;)

wow… just wow… did you even read past the subject line?
i personally dont think that ruined it, although it twisted it, would you mind if it were like that the whole way through, people just starting will probably love it…. plus its somthing new… this world would be nothing but a bunch of bacteria if it weren't for change.

pking was a great part of RS we could loot kill and get killed it was fun now it sucks

pking update aint a big deal atleast for me. Its just the trade update which sucks..

For all legit player killers this IS a big deal.
They have totally annihilated the Wilderness, and in it's stead is the so called "Bounty Hunter".

Whatever it says about Bounty on the rs frontpage is not applicable in practice.
In reality, it no longer takes skill to succeed in this new PvP minigame, but a huge, rowdy, dis-organized mob of noobs with the same team cape.
Anyone going in solo will be massacred upon entering. Additionally, it is easy to escape through the doors that frequent the sides of the arena, making it not much of a chasing game. I have frequently seen noobs enter the arena, wait for their 6 second vulnerability to expire, attack someone once and leave immediately before they can react. It has grown into chaos. If you wear the team cape of a clan they don't attack you. You can basically join any clan you want… because it's not a clan… it's a highly disorganized bunch of noobs with no good stats. Pures are dead.
