Yeah, even though there has been a big chance in runescape over the past few days, alot of people quit and alot of people voiced their opinion Jagex is sounding firm on their complete decimation of runescape pking.

they wont probably cancel those updates, but they might make some changes..

I hardly ever pk. I may be training a few pures though, i have one with 30 range and nothing else and one with 30 att 38 str

since I've only pked a few times, I guess I will never have a chance unless this is reversed.

they should make an area like duel arena where its like wildy but 1 v 1, thats only thing i dont like about bounty huntin is theres no single area…

Well when ppl stop pay and the 10-15m every month payment to Jagex staff stops they have to bring back the cash and pk thing…

Jagex has been working hard on a number of ideas to remove the threat of RWT from the game.

I am sure you will have seen several "bots", or other automated tools, in-game. This is simply the ‘tip of the iceberg’. We receive hundred of reports each day of many bots and sweatshop workers gathering resources for these RWT sites. Each day we receive many letters complaining of the threat that these macroers pose and how unfair it is that that they are "getting away" with it. These cheats devalue what is most important to the game: the efforts of our players.

Jagex has taken a stand against these rule-breakers. We are taking the fight to the RWT sites by removing their ability to do business. In doing so we are also adding new and exciting content for our loyal players, so that they know we care about them.

I have been reading the rants and screenshotting evidence and ideas of jagex and players for a few minutes.

Jagex will not reverse the updates at all.

SRL must compromise or it will be harder for us, from now on it's different, and we will win the outcome of it all!

Any further ideas that Jagex is going to change anything is contradicting my my evidence ( i won't post everything now, ain't got time).

I think Jagex is very adamant on their decisions. If they were to go back to the way it was, it would make them look floppy with their choices.

Most likely it's just a rumor, but who knows, maybe it's true :)

One of the only surefire things confirmed is that Jagex mods(specifically Mod Mark H) promise that something will change from the original update, what that is though is still unknown.

Pretty sure it's just a rumour. From the looks of the development diaries, no.

It's false. Jagex didn't turn back the staking update after rants from their 10 year old whiners, they won't turn back this update, either.

This is were need. "The One" or something to fix this stuff up.

I can guarantee that they'll go through with it.

Mods have just been saying that they'll work with the update to make it more fun, but the concept in general will remain. :(

Meh Jagex is terrible in making all these pathetic updates. They ruined the game. I doubt they'll reupdate their gay updates.

I can assure you that no mod has said the wilderness will be returning. We have no intention of bringing the wilderness back, but please feel free to offer any suggestions you have about improvements to the recent additions to RuneScape :)

Well, there have been rumours about it coming back on the 18th of December :D

We all know that, the thread wouldn't exist without the rumor.

Omg the new updates were very bad:(
Lots of runescape players are now quitted…:(
I also quit playing with my main…because i cant make real-world-item-trading now:)
But i hope that they will fix the wild back because it was the worst update that they have ever done…:(

They are going to do something! Go read the new update.

This is a schedule of ideas for improvements that will build on a number of our changes: the Grand Exchange, new player-killing games (including other dangerous ones), LootShare, Assist System, trades and so many other things that we have introduced to combat real-world trading. We aim to have the most important improvements ready in time for the unbalanced trade removal in January, and to continue adding more throughout the start of next year.

We are currently assembling the best ideas from the Forums and our own staff. We will release another newspost early next week, listing the improvements we plan to make to address your concerns.

0% change they bring back wildy exactly as it was before, at least it'll have some big changes to stop goldsellers.

Well if they dont we are all FUCKED!!! yes i said FUCKED!!! with 3 ! so… well what could we do? all i think of is make new includes for a new game like Tibia… its gay but easy to hack and no protection and most of the script would be clicks.. like an auto fisher, just press rod+ water and ur done! lol

It just… sucks… Wildy was the only thing to play rs for, now when there isn't wildy, getting rich doesn't help you since you can't auto with alching to 99 and go pwn :(

I think what we should really be thinking about is what changes should be made to the updates so that it could be almost as good as pking and still be something that Jagex would accept, because the facts are that Jagex won't bring back the old wildy, a new wildy is here to stay, and Jagex is willing to take suggestions for improvements.

So maybe instead of talking about the rumors we should come up with our own solution and then flood the RS forums with the exact same proposal so we will get noticed and we wont get so many 10 year olds bothering us in our discussion as we would on the RS forums. :sasmokin:

ah well, it's their game, so I suppose they do whatever they want. The PK part of the new update doesn't bother me much, as I never used to PK anyway, but many of my friends are unhappy. Guess they will have to deal with it - hope Jagex can come up with some good ideas to make it better.

Has anybody else notice that over the past 6 months there have been a lot of updates to help noobs, or to stop RWTs?
(Ditch, Arena, Pking, Trading)

Instead of punishing the majority for the actions of a minority, they should open up a white market, and take a small amount of money from each transaction. This way, nobody would be scammed, nobody would be mad at jagex for stupid updates, people could buy or sell gp knowing they will not be scammed, and jagex will make more money. I don't see anybody losing in that scenario.

They will never change it back sorry to say. But i think they will just add on some stuff like the mods have been saying. It will take a while though…

isn't that bounty hunter game supposed to be the answer to the wildy? u lose everything if u die there, or so i've heard.

just my opinion i think they will cause most people found the game fun because of pking…there were no rules u just got to do what u want

bounty hunter is the answer to wildy..for group pking,cuz almost everyone gangbang in there…but according the jagex,1v1 pvp might come back…who knows?we will just have to wait and see…

In a new update the unbalanced trade will be upped to 10 times 3000 for people with so many quest points, so all you would need to do is spend time training bots and boom the gold selling business will still thrive, they already have lost over Thousands of players not to mention over hundreds of members, they understood by the updates they would lose money, but your not suppose to let it downfall you. Were all smarter them jagex we can overcome this making better things. We will not be stopped they know this.

ps: wildy coming back (no way) just a rumor so spike up the rs community

but just like jagex said the real world trading they are trying to stop they cant stop anywayz because now they are offereing to log on to your account and train or farm money….
