SRL Archive - News and General

Hey,

I want to organise a SRL Clan Wars event.
In the latest update RS added a new minigame: Clan Wars.
Basicly it comes down to this:

• There's one person who sets up a Clan Chat.
• Other persons can join the chat, which automaticly puts them in the clan.
• The chatowner and people with higher ranks can challenge and be challenged.
• If a challenge gets accepted all the players will get a message calling them to the battlefield.
• The war will start 2 minutes after the anouncement.
• After the 2 minutes the wall ,which splits the clans, will disappear.
• The clan who kills everyone from the other clan first is the winner.

You can not attack people from your own clan. :)
You can not loose stuff.
Your stats will get restored after the battle (including prayer, run and hp).
If you eat, you will not get the food back.

Rules - Read if you're joining!

-I will create a clan chat.
-NO TALKING ABOUT SRL IN-GAME. If you even whisper SRL, you will be kicked out.
-I will give 10 lobsters, if you really think you'll need them (only once).
-I will give you a Team Cape.
-I will assign some people (depends on how much people are joining) higher ranks. They will be able to challenge people.
-If you spam the clan chat, I will kick you out of it (and thus out of the clan).

Who, when, where?

When?
Sunday, the 16th of December. 13:00 hour GMT.

This will continue if at least 0 more will join.

Sent you the PM, did it in 5 languagess so I'm sure you understand

Oh junk…just recalculated times, turns out that's 8:00 my time; greatly decreases my chances of coming, but still a possibility.

same here 8:00 a.m. is quite early, how abouts make the clan, and u dont have to have everyone playing at the same time do you?

Smartz where do u live? we're both 8:00 =o

EDIT: whats "Oh junk" supposed to mean? :p

ill join! lvl 108 ftw =P
Ill send you a pm in a second…

Level 90, I'd like to join.

One question, is it going to be on a member's server? If not I need to know so I can stalk up on some good F2p Armor. Right now I'm wearing Full Torag w/o hammars w/ abby whip / obby cape, dragon boots, glory ammy, warrior's ring, obby shield/ and steel cooking gauntlets :)

I'm sorry I picked such a bad time for some of you =\

Got the pm's of mickaliscious, lalaji, Ejjman1, Trevor3443 (still need your char name, pm me @ srl ;)) and XcanadamanX.

I updated the list with the names above, plus ZephyrsFury, Adamb_135 and Secet. Did I miss anyone?

Don't worry.. I've autoed on my mod before. I've used BotCatcher on it and mods aren't restricted to 1 report every 60 seconds. :)

1 question for you neil…

The time you have on the thread is it with or without the day light savings?
( are you in US?)

b\c that would mean that 8:00Am would actully be 9:00Am be US is on daylight savings right now.

Confusiong…

Its 13:00 GMT… GMT is ahead of the US I think.

I'll come, lvl 92 (will prolly be higher when its sunday), is it in free or members world?

lalaji: Have you tried the converter I posted?
Free world :)

Drunkenoldma, added you to the list! :)
PM's received from ZephyrsFury, Trevor3443, IceFire908, Mastaraymond and Dumpin.

I edited the startpost so everyone from who I haven't received a pm will have a * next to his name.

Yeah dude i did. I think its 8:00 Am Sunday morning for me, but just to be on the safe side can you drop a line at 24/12 more hrs to go. So i can do some math and be sure of the time.

I'll do that saturday.

PM received from gerauchert. Still need 5 more!

hm.. im only 42 cmb =/

You could train ^^
Nah, 42 is good. Shouldn't get any lower though.
PM me if you want to join us.

New PM's: Benleegt and Drunkenoldma.

For getting me up at 7:00 am, we better pwn.

this should be more than just once. Can u make everyone a rank where they can challenge other people? then we can continuously play. and if ur on when it calls u there then all the better :)

I don't want chaos, so I'll give a few people that rank.
Micka: It'll be fun! :D

Countdown.

Just a quick question, who will be be warring… ?

I don't know yet actually, we'll just hop worlds and challange clans.

oooh oooh! Important question!

Whats the Clan name? :D

@nieslie you'll here it tomorrow evening. when i can't come i'll pm you.

PM received from Narcle.
Name will be send through pm.

Sorry to hear rikjess, let's hope you'll be able to come!

i'll join im lvl 69

Maybe end with a drop party? ^^

-I will give you a Team Cape.

Which Team Cape?

I can come :) I am level 76, 64 attk, 60 str, 58 def, pray 52.

MastaRaymond: That would be hard cause some may have left. I do not have set times. People can join and leave while we're running. So a Drop Party would have to be an event on itself.

IceFire908: I bought team-3 and 33 capes. I will give everyone one of both. We might have to switch if we're fighting a clan with similar capes.

PM's received from Hy71194 and from t3hl33tn00b.

From: nielsie95

Alright but we're defiantly going to use those two right?

Yes, you will wear one and keep the other one in your inv. If the other clan has similar capes, we switch.

Lol, nice movie, I love it at the very beginning where the music is slow and ominous and I'm yelling "Wtf are we doing here?!" :-P

Lol see myself calling WEST! WEST! in clan chat at 30 seconds. got piled by a team of 5 dudes while you guys where there :P

nice vid :D

Lol I don't remember our clan getting defeated… and yes you can still see the names. Good thing I don't talk too much during the vid. :p

ya when did we get defeated? when some of us left?

I got a short record here if anyone who's doing some editing wants it

I'll be at the next one, seeing as how last one was quite fun.

From: XcanadamanX

I can't remember we lost once, maybe it was after I went away.
Anyways, Premiere loves eating all of my RAM ^^, and the censor isn't exactly what I wanted, oh well, it does the job.

a) Goverment sold the porn to aliens.
b) The names were too visible
c) HTTP: 1337 - Stop eating my bandwidth bitch!
