In Finland nowadays, when we got snow, we are already wondering where did it go.

I had one where they canceled it in advance, and it didn't end up so much as raining the next day.

From Canberra, going to the snow takes about 2 hours. So from Sydney it would take less wouldn't it?

they let us out of school before the snow started (12:00) today!
Right now we have about 7 or 8 inches of snow on the ground and they are expecting about 5 more!
i love snow :)

It's so weird to see people totally freaked out by the sight of snow :D
Denmark is a damn cold country, and we have snow every year (Or atleast 9 out of ten, if not more, I don't remember). We get no snow in December, but loads during January and February… :D Then we go play in the snow, make a snowman and go inside and drink hot coco with newly-baked bread rolls/buns (Don't know which English word fits best there :S)
If you'd like, I could probably get a picture or two when we have tonnes of snow here :p Last year school got cancelled 3 days in a row because of massive snow… Buuuuuut, I live just across the street from my school (Literally!) (I suddenly forgot how to spell that :S), which is a bit annoying since I can't blame the snow for me not showing up :(

it snows so much here that we rarely get snow days. We got 8 inches of snow yesterday and still had school! The snowplows are just so fast:)

They use salt and chemicals known to cause cancer in the state of California to melt it faster :)
