Supa-1337-magic-IBot Pro style ways to findColor()

Well, I'd PM'ed ruler and he told me Ibot lite uses the Robot class to create a screen capture of the client and search it. Any ways pro might do it faster etc?

Obviously it is.. If it wasn't it'd be cracked all the time.

*cough* solarwind much? :) *cough*

He might be a good source to contact.

int findColor(...){
callSolarWind();
}

Like thaT?

Solar removed the cracked iBot from his site, however it's still very easy to crack.

But out of respect you just don't do it.. :)

I think you always have to do a screen capture before searching?

Yeah, isn't all the searching like done in a bitmap with two for loops? If you know what I mean, like W for loop and H for loop, GetColor(W, H)

Lol, in my opinion, iBot is a really sucky bot, I have no need of cracking it while SRL is still around :)

Pro maybe creates a buffered image of the client and searches through that

I've had a cracked version of iBot Pro for awhile now, but it's Ruler's business if he doesn't want it released.

To be honest, who cares how IBot has done it?

No, it uses scanlines. No getcolors.

If it's faster than SCAR's, there's a chance to improve SCAR's findcolor.

nah i doubt that, i know freddy works on speed a lot these days, barely a week goes by without him saying "iv just removed 2ms off FindColorCircle!!11!1!!" or some other find color procedure.
If there was an improvement from ibot, freddy probably already has it :P

oh and to get the colour from the client when its minimised, theres a very easy way involving bytecode, changing the Canvas superclass and overriding getGraphics()

also, i know Benland made a system with no client edits, it was using those propietory packages sun.com.* and com.sun.*, he probably put it in his little project :)

Afaik, it's not obbed? Unless ruler decided to do so recently…

I'm just interested in the J code.

But I'm looking for simple ways… :p

Yes it is

Its quite simple really. I'm not sure exactly what method he uses, but the easiest way is to replace the getGraphics() method of the runescape canvas with the Graphics object of something else (a BufferedImage for instance), and then search for the color on that image. Every time getGraphics is called, draw the image onto the canvas and you can barely tell the difference from an unmodified client.

iBot as a whole sucks balls. why try using a somewhat "faster" function that can screw up SCAR?

R0b0t1

2007-12-17 18:41:13

Meh? Screw it up? How?

And I know IBot sucks… Just I was looking for ideas.

i personnally dont like ibot and dont think you can gain much outof it to put in scar but iBot pro can be obbtained from www.rscbunlocked.com
