I've just awoke from slumber to find this dumb rs update… I believe they are really out to get us and they hit us hard(albeit at the expense of legit players). But since they dared to do it and said that they contemplated since 2006 I doubt they will roll it back.

Now the only way the RS Cheating scene can survive would be for powerleveling.

I believe the only way for us to get back at them and to rectify this injustice would be to screw rs itself.

Now that the updates are done it seems rs wants to change game play so that people just want to get higher level than the others. We could release bots for free to our friends and spread it out so nobody will play rs and the bot will make them bored.

We could also crash the economy by selling all our macroed goods in a short period of time at the min price to lower the price of everything so legit merchants get pissed and leave.

We could start distributing every single script/bot we have to get more people to cheat and them to pass to their friends(Credits system maybe, for incentive to pass it on) so that legit players quit and Jagex gets screwed.

We could even continue our bots but make them just so they don't auto logout(Or make another rsdemon with capabilities of staying logged in only) and redistro it with other softwares, kinda like adware. So each com takes 2 slots per world until legit players have no more place!

These are my opinions though, if we were to do this we need to orchestrate it well. I know this may seem childish but the indignance in my just won't die down.

Jagex isn't just going to wait for all of the rants to stop coming in and see who is still playing when the dust blows over. Just sit quietly and wait for them to do something. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if the they temporarily locked the site so that they could think of something to do and not continue to be flamed in the process.

I just tried the bounty areana. It's not too bad… But I think u can still transfer wealth. All you need are more high lvl accs, lvl 55 pures to transfer wealth. You kill 1 of ur low level mules so they drop their stuff then your customer picks them up, you protect your customer for the 3mins he can't get out(Kill all who try to kill him) and then when he's out ur done :D. The only limit would be that you can sell armours only, to convert that to cash your customer has to sell that amour.

I really would not mind this update if it were for accounts under lvl 15 or so…


make it like probation that the trade needs to be balanced…. that would be a great update…. but no lets fuck up everything for everyone :p

I have read some nice suggestions at the different forums.

1. Enable Friends unbalanced trades. If you are on the friendlist for say, longer then 6 months, allow for unbalanced trades. Fathers cannot give their children stuff anymore.
2. Selling of high level accounts with lots of money. This is the only thing worth trying if you are in it for the money. Powerlevel the required skills and make money on that one account. I know with my players I could generate 1 million on each of them with a months.
3. The new events will probably be a prelude to RS3, that will show up I believe pretty soon. First they will close f2p for rs2 (as they have done with RSC) and start all anew with a new interface, new looks etc.

RS3 might be a cool way for me to get back into rs… :D

I never was very fond of the people trying to get real $$ out of rs anyways… and powerleveling has been the point of the game from the start.

If they roll, back, it'll just be the servers (undo the updates), not the entire player database, so you don't have to worry.

I think we should make a script to cut the varrock trees, add Greg's amazing Lumby -> Varrock walker as death/lost walk, and give it out for free.

And create thousands of .*random*.com domains that point to srl-forums.com and spam the urls in rs? :D

Look guys there is no reason to plot against jagex, They know what they did and im sure they realize what is going to happen. Everyone is pissed about this update…. it completely defeats the purpose of trading. It also improves a few things. But i feel that trading should just be monitored better? They are so full of shit when they say there systems can detect all this crap. No they cant… if they could you would have handled every problem in your game without ruining it for everyone including the legit players that WERE out there. Now even i have come back here looking to not play legitly anymore. Why would i play fairly in a game that has become about nothing but levels?

Just dont do anything stupid everything will sort itself out in time we all know this

make a fast spreading virus, adds itself to a few windows run registry keys, loads as soon as the system boots up,
creates as many accounts as the computer can take, autos them up, connect to an irc channel….. and wait for orders..

the one of us comes into the channel and types "!woodcut" or something, and all bots change to autoing woodcutting or whatever.
we could have runescape being a pile of bots in a few weeks.

or just rent out part of this botnet for a while

seriously now, lets just wait for it to blow over, we auto for fun right? not money or anything (but is it a bonus)
