I went to www.talkgeek.org, registered. Posted at the threads. Asked them to remove the Scripts. I load the page when I return home:

Ill get any banking script from srl-forums.com for anyone. IM doing this because to get the banking scripts that are legit you must get 10 posts and be a registree for 7 days and most people dont want to wait so just ask me for one and ill get it for you.

I was browsing the site too… There is two people letting people requests scripts for "TG points" or w/e. The one negaal posted and another guy named Kong. Kong so far has posted King of Knives fisher, and Kave`s Air Crafter.

Not sure how we are going to get them to remove the scripts unless you ask Juan himself and he believes who you are. Since you already have been banned.

Easier and temporaly we could build in harry's srl stats thingy…

they can still use the scripts but when update to srl rev or to Rs comes,
they need newer version of srl, so in newer srl we could make simple function name change like openbankfast(string) to findbankfast(string), they get unknow identifier… im really sorry i forgot to say what next really i forgot… i lost my think

well this is one reason why I put an auto updater in my scripts :p so i can easily get an update to them and make the script say something like ~ if you downloaded this from —– then this script is not safe any more they will steal your password if you use it."

Soooo when someone leeks my caver, the leecher will try to use and gets linked to stats.srl-forums.com. Then he says "WDF IS SRL!!!!!11" and he explores it. He will usually find out the SRL>TalkGeek, then will USUALLY become active and contributing on SRL.

There's actually a parameter on ping.exe that will send the same packet over and over again to the specified host.

So…

ping www.talkgeek.org -t -l 1024 -w 1000

If you want to capture IP's, you'd have to go over to the dark side.

OK, since I shall be the hero and get this thread on topic, whats happened wizzy?

Knives, to get someone's IP, redirect them through a php logging script of some sort.

Jason knows alot about them :p

Say the script is at www.woot.com/log.php, you'd put www.woot.com/log.php?site=www.srl-forums.com into tinyurl (the site= part depends on the script, it could be anything, this is just an example), then hand them the tinyurl url, and when they click it, it'll send them through the logging site to srl, and they won't even know it.

i say we just send a tonne of requests to their server……. or have a SRL ID match up with SRL forum member, and if your number doesnt match up with an account of certain level, your banned for using scripts you shouldnt have access to

Or… If we don't want our scripts posted elsewhere, we protect them ourselves. Closing SRL off would inhibit it's growth. Not to mention feed little twelve year olds' egos by giving them this false sense of accomplishment that if they take out a few lines from an open source project, they'll be leet hax0rs. We wouldn't want that, would we? :)

Here's what we do:

We start sending e-mails to the admins complaining about SRL scripts being allowed to be posted there, if we get enough people to do it they will just say **** it and take them off.

lmao, i used to hang at that community, and ever since they got a new site owner, everything went downhill, screw that site.

That MIGHT work… But every single SRL-Member would need to E-mail them.

Are you talking about emailing them? Post up the email adress and I'll just start mailing them stuff like crazy. Maybe even make a SCAR script that just sends them like 10k emails an hour. They'd get the picture wouldn't they?'

Ping sends a request to their server and it will make them work slower, sometimes if much people pinging constantly stop it from working…

yes, Ping www.talkgeek.org or then with some params like someone described to make it continue, or then use my batch code I posted at page 1 or 2…

I might be wrong about the -l 1024 part. It's just, instead of 32 bytes of data, you're hitting it with 1 KB of data.

The net uses kilobits. So you can use 1000 and it'll hit it with 1Kb (lowercase b) of data :)

So, say 400 computers from my school? Or would it need more? Lol. I've got admin passwords to my schools tech files since their tech guys are grandfathered in from the 80's back when you didn't have to worry about security. I was already working on a registry key to change the startup screens of all computers in the school to this gif of a fat guy and a pizza. I could just extend it a little and get a nice army of serverkillers. (I guess .bat's would be the best bet?) I'm still learning how to do all this btw. If anyone feels like helping that'd be nice.

That'll just be a last resort if they don't remove the scripts, of course.

Ping.exe uses bytes. The default is 32 bytes of data sent, but you have the option of upping it. If you up it to 1024 bytes of data, that's equal to 1 kilobyte. And I'm well aware of the difference between the lowercase and uppercase B's.

Yeah the only way I could get it on all the computers is to load a program onto the schools list of programs. Each username gets different programs, (i.e. Physics class usernames get some physics related programs) but they all get internet explorer so I'll just have to make an icon that looks exactly like the internet explorer icon and have it so when its clicked on it runs a batch file or something that changes the registry and pings the site. Wow this might take awhile, considering I don't want to get expelled so I'll have to make the ping's hidden and still have to run internet explorer after it changes the registry. Thats some task. Good thing I've got a few friends who know their way around a computer.

Not all schools use a server startup for the computers. So you might have to place it on each machine separately. It wouldn't be too hard however to make a sorta "installer" to place the .bat on the computer and modify the registry.

Though taking the time to do this should be the last resort for stopping them posting our scripts, and it probably won't even work. First we'll ask/complain (like we have), then legal methods if at all possible.

Just google email spammer or something.. There's loads of sites with email spammers made in php or you can dl some program to do so too.. But after like 5 msgs they're put to spam folder XD

Also, isn't pinging kinda old? It prob. worked like 10 years ago, or you need like 10000 computers if you're planning to ping the site down. Also no point opening loads of cmd windows, you still use the same connection and pinging them will just slow your own connection down because you're wasting your internet resources or something :p

Legal actions…. They'll most likely cost alot and will be hard tracking down the people to sue etc… and not sure if any judge or whoever it is who makes the decisions will really give a shit over a SCAR script, sorry and no offense but they might not understand the point and you're using the scripts to cheat in a java game etc…

Making a auth system.. Would be kind of hard to make it check someones SRL nick, pass and maybe postcount or join date to check if they've been here for 7 days and it could be easily abused too..

Just nicely asking them to remove the scripts should've been the best way, any decent and even a bit mature admin should respect someones work that bit…
