Okay there are a lot of ess bots now a days and you know they are bots cause they all go to the same bank slot every time.. all stop at same spot every time… so i devised a plan but it takes people!! about 15 of them… okay get 15 people and cover every space in aurburys shop then they can't find him and they shut down… haha pownd yay!!! all in theory haven't had 15 people willing to help me.. host a clan meting in his shop or something and tell me if it works…

edit::This will effect script users also so try not to screw over your srl friends..

Yes, Wizzy's essminer uses FindAuburyText and many noobs don't play by SRL rules…

Umm iBot's essminers keep searching for the aubury or portal or anything forever :( They don't have much failsafes…

Just hold a fake drop party in their. All the spaming and people will eff them up. Then be like okay the drop is starting now in this new world, and go to another world to screw over more ess miners.

Good idea I guess, but in practice I don't see this working. I don't see what the point of stopping ess miners is either, we are all autoers here so why take ourselves down?

It doesn't need to see aubury or text or whatever, the deal hacks into the game client and retrieves the cords from the ID from information that is in the actual JAVA.

obviously you didnt think before posting, but i will forgive you.
SCAR is a compiler, it compiles pascal code.
SRL is a include system for SCAR.
the "SRL" community promotes "autoing" (and note that i say "autoing") which does not damage the RUNESCAPE community.

Botting: using a Chinese java client of some sort most likely RSDEMON to spam lots of characters and get as much resources as possible before getting banned (botting is much more obvious).
some of us long serving srl members still believe in not damaging the game in which we play ourselves, i think it all sounds fairly logical

i think its very important to take ourselves down here on this issue because a very high percentage of srl users autoing ess, do not level thier characters at all, and therefore doesnt follow the true moral ethics of "SRL"

well i didn't completely think it out i will say… but i'm talking about the bots… from what i heard they don't find aubury text like our scripts do therefor… it shuts them down… and the reason i want to stop them is cause i'm tired or walking by a spot thats got like 50 bots and lagging out it happens all the time…. it's making me really mad… and well the more the bots get the more the website promoter auto talkers come out and we all hate them…

and if a mod wants to delet this thread i am okay with it….

But I am curious. Does RSDemon use colors or mainly coordinates?

RSDemon used some sort of client hacks afaik; it was protected though, so noone I know ever got to see the source code.

Also afaik, it's dead now.

So RSDemon used to hack and get the coordinates of the things that they want to find? Also.. How does it run? Is it a client like SCAR with all the code written in it or is it something else. Sorry if this is a bit off-topic but I really want to know.

RSDemon used to work like ARES does now. they both Use or USED UID's and info they gain from hacking the client to find the things. so the mouse doesent need to click on Aurubry to teleport it will just use the UID of aurbur'ys teleport function to teleport there. like what xKYAB will have hopefully when its released

Orly? Norly, AFAIK.
Last I checked, FPC and Turbo Pascal are compilers that compile pascal code, and SCAR is a programmable Delphi program that uses Pascal-ish syntax.

okay so what you are saying is that it works to stop i bot but not i bot pro…
right cause i'm not so sure i understood that…

just lure the highway man or that tramp or whatever in there close the door and he's hisory. its not hard

You brought up a year old thread for that? (Yes, 2007=year old!)

I've run Wizzup's ess bot before. It will still find the aubury. When the aubury says his "senventior blah blah blah" it automatically puts the cursor under the words, so if the aubury is hidden, it will still right click the aubury and teleport.
