I propose making a new Award for Non-Members.
Non-Member Helpers I see lots of helpfull Non-Members. Good Idea?

Maybe, but why would you want to split the Helper Cup into non-members and members rather than just awarding those non-members the Helper Bear?
EDIT: I think if you where to make that into a new cup it would cause some issues w/ if they do the same things as a member does and the member gets the cup why don't I get the same one?

Well maybe make it a lower level of helper, like azrel(sp?) and masters cup?
Non-members can only get as high as the first cup, but the helper bear is the second level helper cup and you need to be minimum of srl member to get it?
But I do think we should put something in the way of cups for non members.

Azreal (There's an "a" I think…) is how its spelled.
Also I never knew there where "levels" of cups I thought that if you had earned it you got it… I mean… thats what the public believes I'm sure. I don't know what to tell you about this. I think we should make an entire set of non-member cups if we're going to do this, not just make one.

Well there's really only 1 cup thats has 'levels'
The scripters cup
The person generally has the azreal before the masters, and has either one or the other (Sky scripter is an exception)

Well SRL is definitely getting bigger and membership is becoming more elusive…
I think we should create a set of non member cups. I would be happy to donate some time and what little talents I have in graphics to help out if need be…
I agree. I have non members on msn. That are always giving me progress reports and giving me really good reports of whats good and whats not in my scripts. And these people arent ever going to learn how to script. But i still appreciate there time.

There are some non-members who really contribute to the community and help lots of people, but can't we just give the normal helper-bear to them? :)

I dont think there should be a difference between non-member helper bear and member helper bear.
But maybe some more cups, or cups that are given away more easily.. That would be pretty cool.

I say, a junior helper award.
If they can get in to SRL Members, I don't see why they would hesitate.

I guess so, but maybe there could also be the set (like someone mentioned, think it was raymond), like a script testers cup for non - members. I have some people, like Swift, who give me feedback all the time on all my scripts.

A distinguished new member cup?

I say they deserve something, whether new or old, I don't think it makes much difference.
New cup for nonmembers = more work for admins when that person becomes a member (cup switch)
Old cup for members = less coolness for members

This is true, I think it would be easiest to just leave it as a members cup but still award non-members with it. This will give the non-members' who earn it a bigger sense of pride, and I don't think the SRL members will really mind.

Why not just give the normal helper bear? I wasnt aware that cups were only for members, there are a few non members which deserve cups like testing, and yea helping
