I assume most srl members will understand the tut although i tried to make it as noob proof as possible…
Here ya go:
http://freddy1990.com/SkipBoxTut/SkipBoxTut.htmlNote that you don't have to include SRL anymore because the Skipbox functions are now in SCAR Divi by default
Enjoy it.
Nice functions Fred, Ill be sure to use them. ;)

U sure you got the updated plugin and everything? because it should work…

Yea, plus Anuj tested it for me on Divi, and it still didn't work, so it's probably something with the script, I just don't know what. The weird thing is, the example works, but not when I change the color.

Hmm, weird… well, i'll see if there's a bug somewhere on my end, but i doubt it…

Thanks. If it's on my end, please tell me where, because I can't see it.

Worked for me, works for me.
Although I don't understand how I could use this in RuneScape.

It works after Freddy updated the plugin a second time, and this was back in 3.5 or 3.6, so it works in 3.7 and Divi for sure.
I used it in an primitive version of DoorProfiles where I found a pixel of doorcolor, created a box around it, added that box to the skipping array, and repeated. So the next time it finds a doorcolor pixel it will be in a different door. So this repeated until it couldn't find one. So then I ended up with an array of boxes, containing 1 door each, pretty useful. Off the top of my head it could be used for rock finding, bank and inv item finding, stuff like that.

I used it for treefinding in my powercutter (powerkut) - it worked quite well.

Hmmm does FindColorSkipBoxArray just look in 2 places for a colour? soz kinda nooby at this :D

It can look in the green box but without looking in the blue boxes.

Yes.
It's very helpful when you're searching for an object on the mainscreen. Move the mouse over a color, check the uptext…if it's not what the script is looking for, make a box (20x20 or so [x-10,y+10,x-10,y+10]) over the 'bad' point. Search again, excluding the box. Repeat until you find what you're looking for.

ooooooohhhhh lol so you could make it like if not (IsUpText('STFU')) then
//make that area a box and it will from then on skip it?

Oh…I never thought of using it like that before. That's pretty sweet.

can u make it reset to look in that box again later?
Boreas

Yes you can change the array however you want. The array of box is external to the function, you can use it before and after using FCSBA.

I'm just saying I never thought to make add a box to an array to not look in.

Maybe you should Add
FindColoredAreas(var P : TPointArray; Color, X1, Y1, X2, Y2, Tolerance, MinArea:Integer);
That would be hepful :)
