I've never seen Norcross personally, but we're more centralish-Georgia. Anyway, MDS is the only private school in the running, which means we are at an odds both people wise and popularity wise ;)

Edit: Does anyone know of a good hotmail e-mail generator? I think I could crack the security-code-typing-thing on wmgt, but I dunno about hotmail…

I never really got interested in jazz but Open Up Wide sounds like it must have been a lot of fun to play.

No, I was not there. I'm on a crusade against the math department at our school due to them being stuck up arrogant… you get the point. But anyway, our math team is pretty bad now that bout Mr. Dotterer (the team leader and department chair last year), Braden (who graduated), and myself don't participate anymore…

Ok, here's the plan, I've got a script that can vote when given an account name and a password. So, if you all want to pm me or post the accounts you created and their temp passwords I will use them next time as well. Or if you just want to make accounts for me and I'll save you the time of voting, that will work too ;)

Strangely I've also got a script that can make accounts, I just don't know of a good way to crack that captcha… I've tried catching the seed value, but it only lasts ~30 seconds.

If it's just a cheap captcha, then it only has a few images built in and you can just make a bitmap of each(if you are using SCAR) and try to find that bitmap.

Na, I know exactly which captcha it is, Google Mycaptcha. It makes a random image from random letters whenever it needs them. That includes deforming it, so the chances of getting two that are even remotely similar are almost nil.

Ben, I'm no expert, but I'm guessing that the captcha (or what you called it) is matched with the inserted text. Couldn't you just crack some HTML-stuff, and change whatever boolean it sends (True if inserted text matches, false if it doesn't) ? Again, I'm not an expert AT ALL but it's my best idea, lol :P

I don't know, the only reason I'm slowed down at all is because I don't want to sit around and solve captcha's all day ;) I actualy have a script setup to automate the whole process from account generation to voting, I just can't solve the captcha's yet and really don't want to try to write something to do it if it will only be good for a week or so…
This is what I've done so far:
This data is perfect for a neural net, but I'm 100% sure the deformation is such that no greater than 40% accuracy would be possible…

Ok, I'm pretty sure that we've all broken the rules of the contests already so I vote for Ben to just haxx their site back to the medieval times, or change the results of the competition with some über-stuff.

I guess I wasn't clear. It would be 40% per character, therefore (since they are 4-6 characters long) the total accuracy for each captcha would be 2.5% to 0.5% Those odds aren't worth my time ;)

No, 2.5-.5 is really not worth it. Out of 100, 3 would get through on a good roll. Might as well automate Roboform with random idents each time, then fill in captcha yourself.

what about, you make the script so that it pops up with the captcha and you have to fill it in manually…( you could fill in one about every 2 seconds, so i guess i could do it for a couple of minutes) XD
