Lets see how good Jagex are.

So, I'm turning 16 soon and really can't afford members on RS2, so I'm going to quit. BUT, I'm going to go out with a bang. I've bought myself 204k(only cost 1.6m from the Grand Exchange, but 3.2m from shop ;)) mind runes, and a mud staff. I intend to get 94 mage, and I've estimated it will take 16 days of straight autoing, except I'm only going to do 10 hours a day, meaning roughly 40 days work. This should set Jagex's "anti-macro" devices ringing, but will it?

I'll be making an automatic curse script, adding the best anti-random(from SRL, none other :D) and anti-ban procedures I can think of. In addition to this, an advanced auto-responder specifically designed for use with SMART, you can control it remotely through say, IRC, with a little known Java <-> SCAR app made by RegeX, or you can rely on pre-defined chats for when you really are away from the keyboard.

Now, this is where it gets interesting. I bet, I won't be banned. I call a bluff on Jagex's "anti-macro" devices, being nothing more than primitive checks to see if the user is human or not. So, later on today(I need to go soon after posting this), I will continue with my script, make some finishing touches to it(add IRC support, bells and whistles really), find a way to safely put all my money on a bank account and start autoing, for 10 hours(give or take a few). I will watch it now and then to see if it works as it should(solve anti-randoms etc), and will continue the same routine for the next 40 days.

Edit - can someone move this to general please? Closed the wrong tab. ;)

I doubt you will get banned.

Good luck, should be interesting!

I like the chat idea, far nicer than pausing the script then unblocking/blocking until you can type, then responding and finding an excuse for being so slow :p

Good luck with that, I'm sure you'll make it no problem. I did a similar thing a while ago, got to 95 range before I stopped because of a temp ban.

Oh, if anyone's interested, I'll be posting the script and the extra IRC addon when I'm finished(to SSRL for the minute).

EDIT: Just realized RegeX's Java SharedMem didn't work as I expected. :( This might take some time.

yeah i remember that Scar<->Java thing quite well,
anyone remember that little attempt of a silent mouse of mine? it was a bit like smart except you couldnt minimise, and it used that regex's package.
how did you expect it to work/how is it working?

id definatly like to see the IRC part when it posted

I could get it to read SCAR fine, but for the life of me, I couldn't get SCAR to read it. Saying that though, I've just figured out how I could have done it. Oh well, I've already setup IRC > Java > website > SCAR now. :(

The IRC part hasn't changed though, just take something like the PircBot framework and use a method in the package to send all chats received by SCAR to a channel(or a user), and forward all messages received(by a specific user?) to SCAR. Nothing too hard if you know a bit about Java.
