Ok well I have recently thought about buying a few pins for my macroing accounts, I will most likely use spork-eh's forums :D
The only problem is I do not really get what they are exactly. I went on the rs website and it says theres sms pins and telephone pins. What is the difference and which one do I want to choose? Also when you buy a pin from someone for rsgp and you enter it in on the rs website what happens next? Do you get notified in any way? Such as them calling your house or sending you a bill? A tutorial on member pins would be nice, as I am fairly new to trying to understand them. ty for any help that u can give me :D

Well, as I was told, members pins are numbers given to you if you call RuneScape thru phone. You put these pins on the RS Membership page to get a month's membership. No notification…

jus enter the pin and press redeem

there you go to the next page.

and it should say sucessful

then you have 30 days membership

no bills,calls etc etc

hmm… that easy eh? lol tyvm, oh and btw which option do I select?
1) Redeem Phone Pin
2) Redeem SMS Pin

and how much rs-gp does a pin go for these days?

SMS pin mostly; if not, the seller will tell you.

I've seen 800k - 2000k before.

SMS- Text message (whatever it stands for), PBP- Pay by Phone.

Whoever sells you the pin will have to tell you what country it's from and whether it's PBP or SMS. If the pin is right but you selected one of those wrong then you will get a "You on the wrong page" message rather than "Invalid Pin".

Most pins go for 1.2-1.5M.

Ok well tyvm guys… I know what to do now, just a matter of finding someone trustworthy i suppose.

people sell for 80-1.1m are generally scammers as selling for 1.3m is easy =p
and 2m is over kill
so pay 1.3 1.5 ish mil

Lots of scams occur when buying pins, not saying you're going to scammed, just telling you to be careful.

Lots of people sell for 1m -_- just look around and don't be to fast to look.
