SRL Archive - RS3 Outdated / Broken Scripts

Since Tails111 activity has ceased to 0% (EDIT: His is hack now :)), and he hasn't visited SRL in a while, he must have left, therefore I can not update his main post on his ChopYBank (http://www.villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17735) thread.
So I am making my own :D

I am too lazy to type a new post one, so here is a mostly copied version from Tails111:

I have finally had help on my walking for the trees and I have found it works pretty well. This script is a first of it's kind. All Tree Draynor Chopper (except Yews). This script will not make you huge amount of money, but it will make decent amounts of Woodcutting levels. :D

I have had this script run for long amounts of time using low numbers of players. With 6 players it will do an overnight run. For those that parents turn off their computers at night, and get angry at you for leaving it on not doing anything, I have added a shutdown procedure. It will shutdown your computer when all players are false, should you chose to turn it on.

It features:

All Tree Finding
1. Walks to All Trees
2. Stays in the Forest when cutting Normals
3. Ent Finding
4. Finds Trees in less then 4 tries (2 seconds!) And that is on a bad try.
5. Auto-Responder!

Setup
Set Lines 53-54 To your SRL Stats please.
Set Line 57 to True or False if you want to turn off your computer.
Set Lines 74-132 for your characters.

If you want to cut a specific tree you can change line

 Players[0].Strings[0]  :='No Tree'; 

to

 Players[0].Strings[0] := 'Oaks';// Or Normals or Willows or No Tree for the script to automatically decide

Be careful on the tree name (if you don't use NoTree) that you set it EXACTLY as

'Normals', 'Oaks', or 'Willows'

- one spelling error will screw up the whole script..!

It will start to cut willows at 55 woodcutting, if you want for it to cut sooner (like 30 for example) change line 321

was using this earlier.. aawww tails left?? he was my first helper.. lol anyways the one prob i found was that it got stuck in the endless loop of tree finding…. and also error detecting compass 0 . This caused it to auto logout and didnt go nxt player… otherwise walkin = good and banking = good :D:D

I added a failsafe so there is no endless loops :D If you are at the tree more then 30 mins, it will walk to bank, and bank.

It will also now detect if you have a WC axe or not, thanks to Sumilion's FindAxe.

Idk what happened to him. Thats what happens to lots of SRL members- they get active, become members, 1-2 months later, they quit. It happens a lot. :| Idk why, it just happens :P

This was just during while I was watching a movie. I had to correct it a few times, sometimes while it was twirling it wouldnt land on the right direction, and would go the totally opposite way. It might be because I was doing it on Microsoft Virtual PC cause it was kinda laggy, and that might have throw the script off. I will run it tonite normal, and I will post my Proggy again. So far this script has gotten me from 1-39. :)

It is total loads before player switch. It will do more loads once it loops back around to that player. So it's not the total.

If It banks, then where are we supposed to chop?

eerm… start in draynor and it will auto pick the tree… willows down below.. oak to the right and norm by the dungeon above the pigs…

Hey, i love this script it works really good. When it chops oak, it keeps logging out because it thinks char is idle ( the script only clicks once on the tree). Do you know how to set it to random click?

ima try this out and hopefully make 1mil and get my army to 60 wc to get vyc :D

This is perfect for getting my army's WC Lvls up thanks to tails for the original and idea and thanks to you for updating.

Yes this is a very good script. I used it for a while then built my own script for cutting normals, needs some work but the basics are there lol. The only problem i usually see in this is that the first player cuts the most logs and all the rest just fall behind.

I had to help it a couple of times, when axe broke it just kept clicking the trees but it only broke once other times it evaded the ents. It didn't solve sandwich chick.

Otherwise it is good. Still not sure if I trust it to leave overnight but I may.

when i try to run it with 4 guys, it always cant find the woodcutting level so it just sits there

It stopped from a runtime error. Is this fixable?

Also i have a level 70 player and i tried using him but because of the new 0 number update i can't auto with him because it thinks hes level 7.

i got problems running srl scripts:
except violation or something or runtime error frogot lol but i didn't sleep today so that might be why i forgot…(A)
mostly with string vars…
and functions like IsUpTextMulti so i edited them
might be because i use windows 98 getting my windows xp back in 1 week though :D

Edit:I was looking over your script and i dont know if you did this or i accidenlty clicked a button, but at the begging of your walk to yew section you had a { and that made that whole procedure green. And if you did that, i wanted to warn you that the yews would not work. There are actually more than 1.

He did that because Yews are not completed so don't use them he said they will hopefully working in the next version.

this script is great i love it i do have some problems tho… its working great i took all the willow and norm trees out of mine it only chops oaks and it poons other then the fact that the only random ive seen it solve is the box, it doesnt talk to talking randoms instead it runs from them ive had some great 6-8 hour progys but its useually only one char that makes it there agian this is a POONER script i love it been usin for a week n a half and ive almost gotten all 5 chars to 60 my lowest is 53 and highest is 60 maybe some one should take a look at the random settings i think there a little messed up…. o yea another thing i dont know if its the script but sometimes it changes brightness and i get error detecting compas angle

it says the progress report was written at 2:08. I checked on it at 2:27 and I was clicking on the willow with a broken axe. :(

About the runtime error on scar.exe, it is with FindAxe. I will fix soon, just remove all FreeDTMs from the script to fix it for now.

I ran it over night and only got 3 hours out of it :(

worked great, this would have been a way better proggy if my computer would lag so much.

Cool, and people, use SCAR 3.12c, Rev #7. If you do that, everything will work okay.

Well might as well speak, anyways, I am part of a marching band, we stay after school till 5:30 pm everyday, and then I have a 45 min bus ride home. So all fall I pretty much lose time to do anything. I am constantly doing my homework, trying to keep my grades up. After the fall is over, I do rec (recreational) basketball, and Jazz band.

Anyways during the Fall I am also off all Saturday to go the the compititions which we get to school at 9:00 am and don't get back until 12:00 to 1:00.

I do check the forums occasionaly, during my Visual Basic programming class. But I also made a couple friends last year that play World of Warcraft, so I started that, when you are paying 15$ a month you don't really feel like stopping. Anyways I am working on a new script, Something completely different, a Fletcher!

So I will tend to be a little more active. It is just School catches me :P

What are the combat levels of your characters? There is a, like every script should, a Noob protector. SRL rules state that your character must be lvl 20 or higher.

I was only level 18.

when I try to use this script it always says no axe found even if i got axe…

WFT l start SCAR it loggs in and then do nothing this hapens to all my scripts . but some times for example l start the WT-Fawakis goblin script it work but then if l use it tommorrow it just loggs in and do nothing!!!:( :mad: :( :mad: :( :mad: :( :mad:

Make sure you select the window. Also make sure your colors are stabalized. I haven't really taken a look at the axe part of the script.

Den, it is always a good idea to have level 16 and up on the Willows, so the dark mages don't attack you.

Deth make sure you target the RS window. If you dont it might not click.

That is the generic way to start up Scar, Open runescape, log in, log out, select window, and then start script.

@asecom, I have an, well lets say "altered" version of this script, so I cant release it or check what is the problem. I assume that you are using the current version with Scar 3.12c or Scar 3.12s.

@Southern, It was just 1 mate. It was me and Hy. Since I am bored here is a small history of the script. It was started originally by me, it really branched off of my ChopYSell Script(out-dated). And really was a nice learning experience for me. ChopYBank was not the original name either. I was going to call it just 1-99Woodcutting. Did you do the fix that I posted? I never had to do it, and it mgiht be old. Anyways I have no clue what that error is, so I think you may need to reinstall SRL and SCAR for that.

I start to cut Oaks, and it finishes, but then it can't find the bank. It goes below the bank, then logs out and stops the script…

Mayby you can make a form for the woodcutting stats and edit's in the script.

Well, it didn't work too well for me it would start then once it finished its load it would goto bank and then walk east towards jail. Killed two of my guys, no problem though it just must my brightness or something :D

It's at home :) I will post it later as I am at work .. but I can say that it was a 5 hour proggy .. no one died (THANK GAWD!) .. and 10 out of 11 Girlies were False - none were from randoms. They were standing either at the oak tree, in front of the pig pen, or in the middle of the market square outside the bank. Like 3 of them got to 25+ Woodcutting .. most of them didn't really make it over 15, which is where we started.

I reset them this morning before I headed off to work, but I think that since my minutes on SRL stats are not increasing .. it has already stopped :( I don't have logmein enabled right now so I can't access my laptop to check it.

EDIT: Oo I lied .. logmein is up .. one minute :)
EDIT EDIT: bah .. this is the first time I have tried to access from this computer and it isn't working. I will keep trying.

Yeah, I am not good at walking, and that Oak is hard to walk exactly up to it because the Quest Symbol moves so much :( But the willows are practically Flawless walking (one click ftw) :)

One note: even though some Girlies are high enough to cut Willows .. they are cutting Oaks more often than Willows.

The Girly with all the random stuff in her inventory was just sitting at Willows .. she has 1 Woodcutting - she obviously stood there for awhile.

Sweet .. someone posted so that I won't have to quadruple post! :p

I quit posting proggys, but I am consistently getting 8+ hours each run on 10 players. Primary stopping points with regards to the script are failing ent finding and not having an axe (and I wield 1, keep 1 in invy), issues getting back to the bank once have a full load, misc walking issues. With regards to SRL .. I typically have 3 players in Mordaut each round.

Overall, it's a great script for Willows .. not so great for Normals and Oaks. I am almost to 60 Woodcutting on all 10 players and used this script 90% of the time :)

@ gillian: I have a loop on the players - when it gets a random, or something, it stays in that player's loop, therefor thinking the next player is the old player. :duh: :(

Yeah, I only use one player.

Worked better with auto-responder off, i find though that you have to watch over it every minute or so.. just incase :)

Converted in like 10 minutes to a power cutter, all players that were false were in an Unsolveable random ^_^ Worked great. (TimeOut is when the players could not find the tree after the tree limit failsafe)

Posssibility of SMART version?

For some reason Scar cannot type in the users and passes on regular RS and SS windows for any script… Unless there is a fix for that???

^^true, but, in a reg IE window, u just need to press on the top bar of the window, u kno where u can move the whole entire window around, so that when the bot presses on 'existing user' it will be able to type

sometimes it banks the axe
but i guess thats why need 2 axes…

If you use 2 axes, keep 1 weielded, and one in inv.

EDIT: Wow this is a great script but It needs to wait for longer in-between clicks because sometimes it takes a while to click.
EDIT2: Got a problem that im not sure how to fix one of my accounts is higher level than the other and so it is trying to cut oaks on one and suceeding but trying on the other but failing not realising that it is not high enough level. How would I fix it to realise what level it is and move on.

EDIT3: Just noticed that it sometimes seems to have some trouble finding the bank maybe you could try fine tuning that in the next version other than that it is excellent good work +rep.

You need to update the willow colors, after the tree is gone it just moves the mouse all over the trees root. :rolleyes:

I forgot the trees colours were changed :redface: I will try to fix that up/make better obj finding very soon :D

E: Fixed obj finding, and some other stuff. Works fine now :)

Also, you should let your leet fight cave runner still able to use it… (I got 99str remember?)


EDIT: awsome non smart! also, the banking needs work, when its full, it hangs around the trees and looping in "finding tree" for a min or 2 then bank, or stuck..

The banking after cutting oaks messes up for me, the script walks me to pig pen area instead of bank then logs off. otherwise great job :D

it tries to cut normal trees but all it does it click back and forth trying to find a random tree color and calibrating with the dungeon symbol. I have absolutely no idea why this is happening because everything else works flawlessly.

Yeah, I mostly only tested Willows after all the updates and stuff. So willows will be the most stable :D
