As in kitchen appliances? Forgive me, I tried the search, but putting "appliances" as a keyword turns up practically nothing relevant.

Member Appliances should = Member Applications?

Reasons for this misspelling?

lol kitchen appliances. Oops, please forgive me. I will change that. I am not a native speaker as stated above. I will change it to Application. But on a sidenote: is an applicant a correct word?

Don't worry Fawki, English isn't mine either. I can do spelling and grammar awright, but pronunciation is NOT my thing.

Hi Santa again. Hello Hobbit again. And Hello Fawki again. Hello Hypersecret for the first time, I think.

As Hypersecret said above, applicant is a correct term.

damn you R0b0t you made me lose!

and it should be titled,

applications; that is what is being filled out
applying; that is what is being done
applicants; people applying

those are the words i would choose from.

ap·pli·ance /əˈplaɪəns/ [uh-plahy-uhns] noun -
3. the act of applying; application.

There was nothing wrong with the way it was used.

Hmm. Guess I was wrong. Sorry, close please unless you wish to publish my ignorance or turn this into a discussion of Crazy English.

I guess people know which way it is when they read it.

But while it may be technically correct I don't think that anybody with English as there first language would say appliance - they would say application.
