ive been thinking for a while now about making a steel bar smelting army. I was just wondering about peoples opinions on this matter. It seems like smelting is a rather discreet skill because no one can see what you are smelting, and you are at the furnace for a very short period of time.

Therefore my question is would it be fine to have a smelting army with low combat levels, like level 20, 21, etc.

I think 20 would be fine, just not like under 10 cause, like you said, people might think that you're just a newb smelting bronze if you're 20, but you rarely see lv 10s smelting since most new players immediately work on combat, and since it's so easy to increase in the early stages, they get to like 20 before doing other stuff. And maybe every few hours you should switch worlds (most script can't longer than like 10 hours anyway) just in case there is a legit player smelting and he might notice.

yeah i was just thinking about that because really there is no way for someone to know your level. Its not like mining where you have a rune pick or are in the mining guild, they could be smelting bronze endlessly.
