Ok, so a few days ago I got an email with this:



It was from [email]Jagex@runescape.com[/email]

It also had a link, which is sort of odd. Jagex says that they will never email you, soooo…….

what do you guys think I should do?

probberly a scamm,

Well I suggest you email this to Jagex. They will thank you for the information and perhaps even post that a scam like this is going around.

This is a scam. Got the same e-mail, then about 30 minutes later an email saying "don't click the link I am a scamming douchebag"

Jagex will never E-Mail you.

It's extremely easy to fake e-mails like that.

Look who its really from when you open the message (should say 'on behalf on ***@***.com')

Can't believe you nearly fell for it though =P

Don't think so, i think that all who have gotten this letter are registered same web site(what has something to do with rs), so best way to find it out is to say what communcityes in you are…

That was just a thought, but things like that happens…

You can spoof main addresses from CMD. Also, I think Jagex uses a co.uk domain.

If they want you to be a PMod then they send you a message in the Message Centre thing.
