UPDATE:My dad left house at like 7 and went to walmart and got one of the two last xboxes there =), and he got GH3, hell be home in a few hours!!!!!!!!!!!!


Im going to get an XboX360 + GH2 for 350$ at best buy tomorrow.
Store opens at 5A.M.
At 3A.M. they are passing out a certain number of tickets to the first few people in line to get in right away at 5A.M. when presented to them.
Iv never 'camped out' or went early to a store for anything! =)
So i was wondering appx what time you all think i should get there at?
This item shouldn't be EXTREMELY popular, as it was released two years ago, but i still think i should get there at maybe 1:30 or 2, in order to get the tickets they hand out at 3.
If any of you guys have experience with Black Friday shopping, what do you all think?
Also, what kind of stuff should i bring to stay awake/entertained =)?
Im taking a chair, a blanker, and iPod, and my DS =).

Yea bring some reallly good energy drinks and maybe some coffee. I dont think you need the chair much. Bring alot of games cuz u will get bored or sleep ;).

I have the R4 for ds =), i can download games free and stuff, so i wont get bored =), got over leik 20 games on my ds right now.

As for sleeping, i can stay awake pretty easy, not much into energy drinks, but ill bring come coffee =).
My main question is just what time i should get there at, but coffee, yes , good idea.

You got a laptop? Just bring it and leech off the mall's wifi :D

Go there at 1:30 or 2. The earlier the better.

Guitar hero owns!!! I would get there as early as possible… Xbox 360 and gh2 ftw! Although i have gh3 for the computer… hopefully my bro will get an xbox 360 for Christmas because im getting a guitar.

My suggestion… Go a lot earlier then midnight night before… Everytime like xbox360 or Halo 3 etc was release, at Futureshop here where I live.. people started lining up 2 days before… and the line got VERY LOOOOOOONG VERY fast

But xbox has been out for two years, i think that line was long mainly just beause of halo 3.
This just just xbox w/ gutiar hero 2, at a nice price =).

I got one of my freinds to come alone with me, so we can wifi/link our DS's and have fun with that =).

Im planning to go at 1:30-2. Tickets handed out at 3. Doors open at 5.
You MUST HAVE a ticker to get the xbox/expensive items. All xbox/expensive items left over after 9, are sold to everyone.
So i guess 1:30 will be a good time to go i hope =).

I drove over at 10:30, and theres already over 100 people there, so screw it.

get a java monster it's a monster energy drink / coffee it's awesome…
get there at least 2 hours before they open but thats still prolly not early enough it all depends on how many they have in stock….

Why guitar hero 2 instead of 3

The deal is that it comes with guitar hero 3.

Ugh.. so lucky, I can't go shopping… your so lucky. I wanted to buy a Sony VIAO for 229.

I just got back from best buy and I saw plenty of people with guitar hero 2 and Xbox360's and I was there at like 7:00am.

Wow Every black friday more people come. I was just at Best Buy in my area and they had nothing I was going to buy sadly. Cheers on the 360 *the best system out*
