The Un-Named

Yes, I know there are a thousand of these threads and a thousand more, but I've been noticing people making silly mistakes while autoing. It will help you if you know how to do a bit of scripting, if not, this thread is not for you.
Anyway, here are some basic things you should already know:
Now, it's fine in saying those, everyone knows about this. But, how can these three things alone stop you getting a ban? They don't, they help stop people reporting you. Since we don't know the extent of the "anti-macro" detection system, for the purpose of this "mini-guide", you will be flagged as level 1 autoing after 4+ hours of doing the same task, whereas level 1 is low risk to Jagex, after 4 hours(this makes it 8 hours total), you can either be raised to level 2, or go free if your not doing the same thing. If you think of it this way, when you get banned you might know what helped to cause it. Anyway, onwards.
One of the most important things while autoing, is to know what your using. People have used the same scripts and the scripts have raked up 2 years worth of use, and people still don't get banned, however we can say these scripts are ideally suited to autoing, they have unique anti-ban features, they can handle anti-randoms properly, and most importantly, they can act like a human. It's all to easy to find a script that lacks unique anti-ban, or anti-random handling, and instead uses uniform anti-ban that jagex could pick-up on. When your choosing your script and you've found one you like, look through it. There is nothing like the power of eyeballing something. You should look to see if it has anti-ban, there's no common mistakes like forgetting to logout or say, lack of decent anti-randoms, and you should check if it has good enough failsafe routines. Once you know what your using, you can make custom edits, or you can use it as it is. If your really paranoid about your accounts, you should make small edits, possibly add a unique auto-respond system.
Now, once you've decided your happy with your script, you need to look at your character(s). First, you should decide what character/s is/are best. You should base this on how often you use the character(s), what the character(s) were last doing, and when it was last doing what it was. A good choice would be character(s) that were last used by a human to play the game for fun, again, since we don't know how good jagex anti-autoing detection system is, we'll assume that once a character is being played by a human being detected through ways we couldn't imagine, that characters slate is wiped clean. This, is why it helps to have A LOT of accounts. If you have read the seven golden rules of autoing, 20+ should be sufficient, although the more you have depends on how often you auto and how cautious you are.
Once you have found your ideal character(s), you should then proceed to setup the script and run it. You should watch the script for as long as you possibly can until your SURE the script has done everything its suppose to do at least once, so you can be sure that it hasn't messed up along the line. A few tips that will help you would be to use familiar scripts. You should also try to change what your character(s) do as much as you can, give them different jobs so you don't seem like a dull boy, you should treat them as if you had the decision if you wanted to let them play the game or banish them from it. Part of the reason characters gets banned is because of the script, or an unfortunate chain of events, but in most cases, it's the person behind the computer that's to blame.
Well, thanks for reading. To make this thread a little more unique, I think it would be useful if we all could post our theories on how the "anti-autoing" detection system it, whether it be that there isn't one, or that it doesn't work to it being super smart and banning several our characters in a short period to prove they mean business. I personally believe it flags characters depending on how often we do certain tasks, and completely clearing it depending on how often it talks for long periods of time.
Edit: For anyone wondering, I've tried to purposely make this difficult so lechers cannot spare a minute and know how to auto without trace. Sorry. :P
Anyway, here are some basic things you should already know:
- Don't use level 3 accounts
- Try to make your accounts look unique, or like a standard player
- Try not to make it look like your autoing, in other words, do the same thing without talking for 8 hours
