SRL Archive - First Scripts

Can somebody help me convert this or at least point me in the direction of a recent SRL tutorial? And one for SMART and the other new thing that's out now :p. I'm so lost :(.

Well, I just went on a total scripting spree after every Willow Cutter I found got stopped by random after random. This is my end result.

Please go through it, look for sloppy mistakes, test it out, and give me advice.
and don't wear too much, it might let you die.

Downloads Removed because I can't get SRL to work with runescape.

I will add to the "findfight" in anti-randoms. If someone with more experience wants to help me with that, it would be greatly appreciated.

Wow i use this a lot and it is the best willow chopper and banker i have used.
It is now wat i use mainly. only thing is no antirandom really…

what randoms is it failing on? I thought I put most of the common randoms in, plus frogs cause i got loads of them.

it keeps loging me out, will it log me back in? cause i keep stoping it

make sure you have your axe in first inventory space or equipped, the only time it logged me out was when my axe was broken and I didn't notice it.
I have only tried with mith and addy axes, but it uses the SRL axe functions so it should work…

sorry for it not working though.

btw, its nice being able to watch SRL stats go up during school. Even though it takes forever to update (or maybe it doesn't count it when I run the script?)

thats what I write to be sarcastic to myself :D . Mental note (only not mental)
If I wanted to include it I would remove the "dont." I didn't want it to compile the entire woodcutting.scar file, so I justed included the functions I needed. If you want me to change it I will… Thanks for reviewing :)

EDIT: just changed it, after compile, when running the FindAxe function, it stopped saying:

did you have a second player? It won't log back into the same player if something went wrong. If the timelimit runs up, it will log out and can still come back to him.

memory errors are with your computer. It happens to me with every script, but only like 1/10 times.
the axe problem has happened before, is it an iron axe?

checked the stats, and what is this I find?

you set up your players wrong. If you are only using 1 player, delete or comment all the other places for usernames and passwords.

it looks good THOUGH you wouldnt need that many colors for the tree lol =Z

The only problem i found is that it logs out almost immediatly if it can't find the bank symbol for a second… but works best script ive used so!

okay, I will release the next version of the script (beta 4) once views on beta 3 has reached 100.
it is at 93 right now ;)

It wouldn't log in unless it used 8 players. Also when i logged in, it deposited my axes.

hmm. I think it will only work with weilded axes.
Also you have to delete all the empty player places. If you only use one player, delete Players1-7 keeping Player0

i foudn an error. for some reason after a load of willows it ran me all the way to willow tower, i went back and tried again then it ran me to the master farmer in the pig pen at draynor. why?

NO its not buttface go to www.stats.srl-forums.com and register then use the 4 digit number.

For the line 52, either delete all the player info you are not using, or put { in front of the first player you are not using, and } at the very end of the last player you are not using. This will comment it out (I think).

This is a very good script, I shall post proggies tomorrow (I'm going to leave it overnight). I have done srl stats, so it should register for your script though.

There are a few problems. It doesn't answer the certer random (giles, niles) and gets teleported to top floor of Wizards tower.

Sometimes, it goes north a little bit to where the thieving stalls are in the square and tries to locate the bank and willows, and it gets stuck.

Also, it sometimes goes to the axe shop west of draynor in Port Sarim and gets stuck as well.

Please fix these errors and continue to update your script - its awesome.

PS: Is there any antiban in your script? You should add some =)

For one of my characters it runs smoothly.

For the other, it keeps getting stuck in and around the thieving stall square. Sometimes west of it, sometimes directly in it, sometimes in the house right north of the bank. Please fix =)

hmm for me it did start and all but my cursor just stayed in 1 spot forever

thats what I usually do, but I had posted earlier that this should be done, people just dont scroll up :)

yerda, sometimes it does that for me too, but never in sarim, only near the pig stall. I think it has something to do with the way the SRL function "findbank(db)" works. I may have to switch it out with something else.

erm, don't switch the axes? That is a memory error (i think, from the "Address 007236F4") and not a problem with my script. It wouldn't work for all these people and not you.

What u mean by a memory error?

I mean that when i use the script, he dont find the axe (and i have 1 in the inventory and 1 already eqquipped)

i mean that when it says "access violation at (insert address here)" it is an error with SCAR reading the memory at that address. I've been playing around a bit, and memtest returned 0 errors after 11 passes, so I'm totally stumped at this.

so you're saying you have no idea whats wrong? if so have you tryed comparing to older scripts that worked to see if you axcedently changed some of the code so it wouldnt recognize it? (yah i know im a new with posts but w/e first day on fourms)

One problem when i run this script it just clicks everywhere and when the wizard attacks me it doesn't run!(it could just be me i donno):D

Mine got stuck on the Box Random for quite a few of my chars and one on the Tax-The-Pillar Random.

Other than that, the speed of this is incredible compared to most.

thank you very much. what version of SRL and SCAR do you have? because the box solving is part of SRL. It always works for me, though sometimes it needs to click on the box again to get a new question.

again, reading the directions is the key to success.

It is an anti-leecher function I put in, and it will not run without a stats-logon. Please register for stats at stats.srl-forums.com (which is in the directions of my script)

Also, use Findnormalrandoms instead findfastrandoms…findfastrandoms are in findnormalrandoms since rev7

I have already fixed the true false (i think) just haven't released newest version.

Please tell me what I didn't credit, I dont remembers copying anything except some out of woodcutting.scar (which isn't working with any revisions, I already posted that earlier.)

this script clicks the tree way too much while chopping. like 3 or 4 times on the same tree while the character is still chopping.
any fixes?

open up scar. press the button that says file in the top left corner. find the button that says "download includes". press that button and wait till it says its done. then try to run the script

hey, the script does at is supposed to (i.e. cut willows + bank them) but I'm having a problem with the anti-ban and asking wc levels. In the output, it says the usual
We will do antiban in 1 more cuttin cycles
We will ask levels in 6 more cuttin cycles

but when that number reaches 0 it never does those things, and then on the next cut, it just goes into the negative, like this:
We will do antiban in -7 more cuttin cycles
We will ask levels in -2 more cuttin cycles

any idea why? :S
other than that, great script.


EDIT: now it IS doing the antirandom and the wc level asking (or stating) but the numbers still go into the negatives.

Also, when it states my WC level, it states it as 0 - how do we change this?

What is your woodcutting level?
as for the numbers going in to the negative, it doesn't do anything, it just means that it happened that many times ago. If you really care what it looks like I can change it somehow, but it didn't worry me at all.

ah ok, my WC is 46 right now.
It's weird, cause it announces that and I have to try explain it to people. :P
now that I know the negative numbers don't matter, I won't worry about them.

ok. well I fixed that wc lvl problem in version 5.1, it was my fault not yours.

First of all, i would like to start off thanking you for posting this amazing script, it was very well coded. Secondly, i want to mention that there is a problem im facing, my character only chops one tree.. and im cutting at Draynor, it only chops on tree, and takes forever to chop antoher one.. and also, its not banking normally, it just logs me out, could you please explain to me what the problem is? and where i can fix this?

is it the round tree? an older version always found other trees, but then clicked the round one

Wow what an aweomse script!!!!!EXTREMELY smooth banking. I'd prefer a feature where it's not multiplayer, and it logs out your chracter every 15 mins, then it waits 5 mins and logs back in(same char). That would be an aweome anitrandom protection. Send me a mesage about any updates for this.

P.S I would LOVE to see the same program but an edge yew cutter…I would die omg! If u you even tihnk about making it messgae me!

you dont need to drag the crosshairs, it does that for you.

What is your woodcutting level? I get one load done every 3 minutes.

put a { before all the players (after player 1) and put a } at the end of them all. its pretty easy.

fill in all the constants in the script.

Then delete all the spaces for character info that you are not using.

It worked well… Until an ent broke my axe. :/

for some reason all scripts are doing that to me. I don't know if it is because I just started using an old NIC or if there was some runescape update, but I can't do any autoing at all now.

hey really good script used it many times but the only thing is that when i get a tree sprit my account just stands there and dies… can u somehow please fis theis problem… also when i put my axe in my 1st inventory slot… the script banks all the logs plus my axe but really good script otherwise good job!!! also the miles guy logs me out and finally… when my guy gets an ent my axe breaks and my guy dosen't do anything

did you tell the script that the axe was in your inventory? because it doesn't bank mine…

nvm got it but… when i get an ent… it says ent found waiting for it to go away then after the ent is gone my player does nothing…

how long? sometimes it takes up to 30 seconds after.

Hi I cant make this to work I filled the 43-53 in and deleted the other players and using player 0. It login for me but doesnt do anything? What do I do wrong?

I am trying to fix this now, except I am doing all the testing in my head, because my SCAR / SRL is messed up.

When I am near the computer (watching TV, eating, whatever) I never break axes, although it has happened.
I have broken about 5 axes in about 3 days of use. Not bad, but I'm still working on it…

I need a way of figuring out which tree your character is chopping, and where that tree is (x, y). It is not really easy because the character clicks on the tree, then moves, so the x, y used to click the tree will not work.

If anybody has a solution, please share it with me :P

Well, I just went on a total scripting spree after every Willow Cutter I found got stopped by random after random. This is my end result.

Please go through it, look for sloppy mistakes, test it out, and give me advice.

Considering you posted this two years ago, I'm going to say there isn't a good chance someone has the script in their files. Also, anyone that did use it probably isn't active anymore. Not to mention SRL has changed dramatically since then and you would have to basically rewrite it anyhow.

I would just start from scratch if I were you. :p

Yeah that's what I was thinking, but it can't hurt to ask :o. I used to keep all my scripts. I basically would have just used my old one as a template.
