wheres the best f2p place to mine iron? i'm looking for a not too crowded place. my script gets owned if it starts 1 second slower than someone else in varrock east :| so i was hoping to find a better mining spot

Rimmington IMO.

which is better? the varrock west or east? currently the rimmington script doesnt work :[

and also, at 60 mining, should i still be mining iron ore or should i switch to guild coal mining? which do you think would yield a higher $/hr

Just use a powerminer in Rimmy :) not a banker.

go to a less crowded world to do the VEM script. works for me and the only problem is the noobs complain about stealing their ore.

i got almost 60 mining, so i 1 hit iron ores whereas a lot of people need to actually wait for it. i r win even in crowded now. thanks for the advice :)

It depends, coal would def be better during times when lots of people are on. Iron is better during school days, and at night because you are least likley to get "outmined" by a real person.

thanks. this looks like a good strategy. time to lvl up my magic so i can teleport :spot:

i would just ise a powerminer as long as possible until 63 mining then use a guild miner

Don't guildmine unless you have a really good script and 10+ players. (I wouldn't guildmine with under 20 players, but 10 is probably sufficient for shorter lengths).

Also, don't guildmine unless all your characters are at least level 40 combat. If I were guildmining, all my chars would be 70+ combat.
