Well i just bought it today for the Wii and i really like it, does anyone wanna give me their wii codes so we can play online against each other? ( i only played it for one hour so far so im not good AT ALL )

WOOT! gh3 FTW! im getting it tomarrow for the pc! but im pretty good at… i just beat freebird on hard twice yesterday and sweet child o' mine on expert.

I must say the only thing that has changed is the graphics.. :)

I love Guitar Hero 2. I have it for my PS2, and I'm for sure gonna buy GH3 when it comes out here in Denmark (I'm guessing 5-10 days from today). I've done the first 5 categories on Expert in carreer mode.

I got my self GH3 The Other Day… Its pretty fun.. :)

I've beat all the songs on Expert in GH2 except… Freebird, Six and of course Jordan (stupid song). Played most of GH3 I don't own it (no money) but played that dragon force song on expert… omfg. The hammer ons at the beginning are incredibly hard. I can only get 67% in practice mode >.<, only other song besides that one I can't beat is "One" by Metalica. A lot more songs then in GH2… I'll eventually get it probably.

id love to see someone beat "through fire and flames", i personally think its impossible unless your a god!!

My friend, Michael, managed it with 87% on expert. He is unbelievable.
He is trying to get it at atleast 95%, he claims he has gotten 93%, but I have only seen him get 87%….

I bought the game too, I'm currently ranked 439th best Medium guitarist or something on http://guitarhero.com. Anyways, wouldn't it be awesome to be in a band and then get to play your song on GH? That would be so awesome. :D

I'm currently ranked 89th in the world on GH2. Yesterday i spent an hour and a half attempting to tap the TTFAF intro, and i finally got it. =]

I got this game the first day it came Out (was waiting in walmart parking lot at 5:30 A.M.) I'm a nintendo fanboy. I've played the game before, but this is my first time owning the game.

I can handle any song in medium, but i'm still working on my orange key technique

EDIT: This Afternoon, i beat "My name is Jonas" on medium, got 100%, 195,678 was my score.

I love this game, the HO\PO's are so much easier. I'm stuck on Cult of Personality on Expert, the solo is insane… 5 More songs to go and I'm done. What's everyones favourite song too play? I personally love Cult of Personality on hard mode and Cities on Flames with Rock and Roll on expert.

I'll take a risk and do a two month gravedig - guitar hero never dies! x)

I have it too, but I'm still a noob (medium) -

Teh dragonforce is quite fun to play, I also like Raining Blood but it's something I don't want to experience at Expert :p

This game rocks :P im playing on expert atm. but Im having trouble getting to the part 8 (well its only matter of time but still..) but i guess I cant play raining blood on expert :p I have lotsa trouble with that song even on hard!

I cant beat Through the fire and flames on medium…..

i can 5 star through fire and flames on supaeasy :)

but my friend got raining blood on medium with no missed notes :)

I own it. I beat it on easy and medium. Every song available to me is beaton on medium i suck at hard mode though… cant even beat the first song.

I've gotten past the intro of Through the Fire and Flames 4 times so far on Expert: 79%, 80%, 78%, then 81% :p

I almost got past the 81% though, soooo friggin close even though I would have then proceded to lose at 95% :duh:

I own the game but I've been grounded since it came out so I just keep it at my friends house and play it like once a week :p

Oh, and I haven't lost to anyone on TtFaF over Live yet, but I haven't beaten anyone on any of the 80s songs >.<. I hate "old" music, I just can't stay focused and my avarage multiplier hangs around 3x :(

(Also, two-hand-tapping on TtFaF does not work well. Just hold green down with your pointer finger and poke the other notes with the rest of your fingers, and only use your pinky for the orange. Then just strum every other note so you don't have to concentrate too hard on hitting every single note or strumming every single note.

I beat easy and medium … i have 2 songs left on hard ( raining blood and devil went down to georgia) so i proceeded to expert where I got 10 songs done… now im stuck :)

@Dark_Sniper: I wish you could play my bro (to lose to him lol) But we dont have live yet…. We're not spending $100 on the wireless thing for the 360 because we could just buy a ethernet extension cable but idk when we will get one….

I read on another forum that some guys father was buying GH3 on Wii (for $90 or something) for his son for Christmas. Then he found his son and his "quote by father" 3 delinquent friends "/end quote" smoking pot in the backyard, and sold the game on ebay for over $90000 dollars!

The whole incident was in some news thing.

do you have a laptop with wireless connection nearby with one ava ethernet port?
or
do you have a computer with a wireless adapter that does not take up a ethernet port …


cause you give me anything and i can rig it so that you can get internet to your xbox….

Still don't have it for the 360.. I'm decent, not amazing. Still haven't beat Jordan on Guitar Hero 2, or Through the Fire and Flames on 3. I've been trying to learn tapping recently. However, thats not helping me with Jordan.

Guitar Hero sounds like a great game, i have to buy it for my ps3! Saw some people that played it when i was on a charter.

I want to buy a DDR and/or GH3 setup for a friend of mine as a gift, but I don't know what would be best to get.

They don't have any consoles now, so I could either buy them one or try to find something that is standalone. For consoles I was thinking a Wii, since they're less expensive than Xbox.

Or, are there other DDR clones that are good that can be played without a console or a computer?

And can people recommend any accessories like aftermarket gamepads or guitars that are a good investment?

you can get ddr clones for like $35-50 for only the tv but some of the songs…arent my favorite kind of songs =\. I'd get stepmania for the computer(free) and buy a gamepad(dont need one but makes it funner) + you can have as many songs as you want. and can make your own

not to be hateful or anything, but i still think that ghI is the best. it has the best songs of all. the only down side is no hammer ons and pull-offs, so it makes the game alot more challenging.

if they had like more classic songs instead of new stuff like disturbed (though i do like them) or dragonforce, i would be much more inclined to get the game the day it comes out.

as it is, id rather stick to 1 and 2

I can pass some easy songs on medium. But I'm more towards sticking with easy at this point. I play it at a friends house, so I can't really practice.

I've been stuck for two weeks now. Can't beat "Before I Forget" and "3's & 7's" on hard. This is getting impossible. I don't even wanna think about raining blood.

Hard songs I can do on Expert:

> Cult of Personality
> Knights of Cydonia
> One
> The Number of The Beast

Those 4 are the hardest I can do, I think.
But right now I can't do any since I've hurt my hand :p

I still haven't beat TTFAF or Jordan… Although I haven't played in 1+ month. I think Dark Snipers trying to beat me to TTFAF, I always see him practicing it..:p

can wii's play with ps3?

i love GH3 but im not so good i can barly do hard… but im working on it:)
